Default Finasteride - Worth the money?

Okay boys, serious question to all you unlucky bastards that suffer from MPB such as myself.

To those of you who have used Finasteride, is it actually worth it? I mean have you seen your hairloss stop or reduce from using it? I mean surely, if this product was a god send like many boards make it out to be, I'm sure the majority of elderly people would have some sort of hair on their scalp.

It's funny how we have the technology to do so many things in this day and age, like clone shit from DNA, yet there isn't an exact scientific answer to hairloss. DHT conversion is one of them, stress some say is another, but what are other scientific explanations to hairloss?

Now I'm not looking for answers like 'It's hereditary' because yes, I know it is, but what is the scientific cause for it?

Every bald guy I see has hair on the very back of his scalp, why is this any different to the top of it? Also, what is the importance of DHT, is it actually necessary? If not, couldn't they make a product which eliminates it altogether?

FUCK! I'M STRESSING MYSELF OUT BAD! I'M SOO GOING TO LOSE HAIR TOMMORROW MORNING

Finestride is only effective in like 40% or 60%(I can't remember which)of the people(yes women suffer from MPB too)that use it. There can be negative sides. I believe Swale covered this on the HRT forum. There are 2 forms of DHT(1 and 2)that are known of presently. There is a drug that can cut back significantly on the production of the enzymes responsible for their production. But still there is no cure for baldness only treatments. Why not add to your list: Why can't they cure the common cold, or cancer, or prevent all heart desease, or stop aging, etc. Because we lack the knowledge and motivation (yes motivation, they rather spend 24 million dollars on advertisements for the Super Bowl). For myself I have seen miracles of healing( a little baby boy with meningitis that the doctors walked away from was cured when I prayed for him. The Lord honours faith). Most people believe they have to do something in order to receive(Take a drug in order to get better). Thats how they invest their faith so thats how they receive. We all operate according as we believe.

DHT receptors are not found on the side and back of the scalp. They are found only on the top. When people have hair transplants they take the hair from the back and sides of the scalp and implant them on top, becuase they are resistent to DHT. Try Nizoral 2%, blocks DHT at the follicle level. Stay away from Winny and Tren.

Fincar from India is much cheaper and the same thing, they are 5mg tabs that can be split into four doses, they are a generic finestride.

, if you are interested it using ,Finasteride have a look at
www.mastersmarketing.com

about $50US for 28 tablets

BUT

you can get the 5mg Proscar ones for the same price as the 1mg Propecia ones, so, 4 months treatment for the price of 1 if you buy a tablet cutter.

They are not a fly by night internet pharmacy, they are a division of Unchem, a huge British pharmacutical firm

hope this is of some help

well there are also powdered supension formulas that you can buy online at much cheaper prices than getting it in prescriptions form. Also you should never take finesteride along if you wish to sustain the hair you have and reduce MPB. You should also use in conjunction with another product called adovert which blocks dht-2. Also you should use with minoxidil, xandrox and/or nizoral topical shampoo.

I used to be concerned with minimizing DHT with finasteride. But I've come to love DHT now.

Here's an article that explains a lot of the good things about DHT:

Using Finasteride increases water retention. It is okay for a bulking cycle when a decent anti-e is being used. It is NOT a good idea for cutting cycles. I was never able to get really cut while using finasteride.

I have used Finastride for a number of years both on and off cycle. I do not think it helped all that much in the hair loss department. I came off Finasteride about a year and a half ago and promptly dropped 8 lbs in water weight. I have some mild glandular gyno in my left pec that I would attribute direclty to finasteride use.

I would only recommend Finastride use in the following circumstances:
1. In a bulking cycle when testosterone is being used in high levels;
2. With a very good anti-e; and
3. Use it only while on cycle and not while trying to cut.
