I was wondering if anybody on here can give me any kind of advice on what I should take. I am 19 years old and need to bulk up because I am now playing college lacrosse and my weight of 155 pounds at 6'0" wont hang like it did in high school. I have been working out for the last 4-5 months, about 4 times a week, and I am just not seeing the results that I need. About a week ago I began taking "Myo Max: Gain" protein, 4 scoops a day that comes out to be 490 calories and 52g of protein. I intend to keep taking this for at least a couple more months. I know that if I get on any type of anabolic I need to get tons of calories and protein to make it worth while, but since I'm only 155 pounds I can only eat so much a day. What else can i do? I want to gain anywhere from 20-30 pounds and keep it on. Ideally I want to do just one cycle, if I dont reach my goal then I would take one or two more if I had to. What would you guys do if you were me? Thanks for any help/advice you can give me. I really appreciate it.
first of all, get you diet and training on track before you even think about using steroids.. you can gain weight as easy w/ steroids as you can without at this point. I'm not flaming u, i'm just telling u the simple truth.
Word the gear is not some magic solution bro. You have to dial in your eating and training and sleeping on and off them taking gear and not doing all the rest is like doing nothing at all. You can bang out like 6 cycles of shit and still see nothing worth talking about......
Forget pounding down weight gainers...mostly sugar you don't need. Bottom line for you right now is minimum 4000 cals per day from lots of chicken, eggs, lean beef, brown rice , oatmeal, yams, nuts, fish oil. Train with reps of 5 to 8 on basic monvements like squats, bench press, shoulder press, chins, rows and curls. Read it twice if you have to but do it this way.
alright thanks for the advice guys, Im going to keep going at it for a couple more months on a better diet and see how things go. If I were go get on something what would be the best for my thin body type, that would help me keep the weight on? Could i benefit from taking just a pill rather than an injection cycle?
You play lacrosse so I'm assuming that you're no sissy and that needle pricks won't bother you. My guess is that you want to take an oral because you either don't want to be completely dedicated to steroids or you just want the "majic pill".
It sounds like you work out hard and you are refining your diet. My guess is that you are doing a ton of cardio right now, and you said that you are already working out 4 days a week. This might be the very thing that is keeping you from gaining mass. My suggestion is that you take a different approach for the next 8 weeks.
To build muscles you need to focus on recovery time. With your rigorous workout schedule your body probably isn't getting enough time off to focus on building more muscle. Try lifting weights just three times a week as follows:
Try working 5 sets of 5 reps for each major exercise. Following your 5x5 set, do a 3x8 set with a different exercise on the same muscle group (ie. incline for chest). You can add whichever exercises you want to go along with your main lifts, the point is for you to just focus on hitting a specific body part once a week. For a workout freak, it's going to be hard to hold back, but I think for your size it is essential.
I'm sure there are other workout plans that people will suggest, but this one worked for me. I was 6'3 180lbs and bumped up to 215 in a matter of four months, all clean. I did switch up workouts a few months into it, but this is what I started with. I definitely contribute a lot of the gains to a huge calorie intake, but I put on lean muscle and I remain under 8% bf.
If you're here you're probably going to try steroids, regardless of other suggestions. I would recommend you go to the main page and read Phreezer's sticky about first cycles. Hope that helps man.
hendrix is right bro. Take your time. Just eat eat and eat. I have just cut my training back, giving my body more time to rest and my gains and strength have gone through the roof (clean too, no gear). Stick to what some of the vets have said, youll see results.
your battle is double tough - being a athlete you burn more that you can probably eat without getting sick - sorry but the best way to gain is to actually slow down and get a bit lazy
I know that is not what you have in mind but right now you simply are a fat burning machine and nothing - not even steroids will help you gain until you can stop competing a while and bulk
thanks a lot for all the input, i wont be getting on any gear now. Can anyone reccomend any supplements i can get at gnc that will help me put some more weight on? I know its hard because i run so much but I think that if Im burning my normal diet everyday maybe a supplement would cancel that out and help me out a bit. and what age is it reccomended to start a first cycle? thanks for everything guys.

I would try a good high quality protein and some creatine. I would train and eat healthy for a few more years and start cycling around 23 or 24. You should try to reach your natural potential first.
