Default Gear and making babies

Hello,

Recently my girlfriend has been asking some questions about having kids and if any the effects that AAS has on it. We eventually would like to have a baby, so my question is how long will I have to be off cycle and how long will it take for the AAS to leave my system or at least allow us to make this happen. Just looking for a few answers to make her feel better about this situation. I know there is a lot of experience on this board and I am sure some of you have kids. Also trying to get a timeline for this so I can evaluate my next cycle recovery time. I understand Deca takes quite a long time to leave your system. My cycle is listed below if this will help with your advice.
Thanks.

Deca 500mg per wk - 12 wks
Test E 600mg per wk - 12wks

you better run the deca 10 weeks and make sure you have your PCT lined out or you wont even be able to get hard enough to try and make a baby lol and as far as pregnancy is concerned i know people that have gotten girls pregnant during cycles including me that were cycling way more potent chemicals than those so dont worry bro you'll be fine

Also, in case you were wondering...there's no evidence whatsoever that kids that were conceived while on aas will have any health problems.

Yeah, but they're 20 pounds of muscle when they're born!

Bill Roberts answered a question on this very topic several years ago:

"Absolutely not. No conceivable mechanism, and even among those doctors, etc. most opposed to anabolic steroids, no one has argued that this may be an adverse effect.

"Androgens have no adverse effect on DNA replication so there's no problem there. There's also no problem of carrying androgen into the egg... the mass of the sperm cell is negligible relative to the egg. Also no sexual differentiation occurs for quite some time and so even if androgen levels in the egg were changed (which they would not detectably be) the excess androgen would diffuse out in only a matter of hours at most, whereas it is probably weeks before the first sexual differentiation occurs.

Anyway, theory aside, it's not observed to be a problem nor believed to be one by doctors."
