Question glute shots....sitting or standing

I tend to cramp up a little trying to twist around and slowly do a glute shot. Esp after a workout. I'm thinking maybe sitting would be easier, but I know the muscle is tighter while you sit. I don't want to be sore for a week. Anyone tried it? Any other suggestions?

I used to be afraid to shoot anywere else besides glutes. I finally started hitting quads, shoulders, tris and glad I did. use a 25g and you'll be glad you did......11

just like eleven said. had the same thing here. the more rest you give a site the easier they are as pain is concerned. as for your question. i have done glutes both ways but prefer standing. i just get a better feel for my injection site when standing. its easy to flex the glute and pinpoint the muscle center.

Like 11 said, you'll be surprised at how easy, and painless, it is to inject the quads and shoulders. I use a 23g 1" for everything except the glutes (22 1 1/2"), which I rarely inject anymore because of all the scar tissue that has built up.

When injecting the quads, I just do it sitting down, with the leg straight out. It's a breeze. As far as the delts go, I use the front, side and rear heads... although the rear head is a little hard to reach, so I don't do that too often. I do the ticeps too, the rear (long) head.

I personally wouldn't try to inject into the glutes while sitting down, since the muscle will be harder to penetrate. It will probably hurt more... just a guess.

Another thing is, if you inject the quads or delts, you don't even have to put the needle in very far, as long as you are fairly lean. I use a 1", but only go in about 3/4"... even with 2cc injections. But I would go at least that deep.

23g1" into the quad with 1ml sus & 1 ml EQ absolutely painless and right in front of your face. Too easy Bro.

Can't beat the quads bro. Best place IMO. Right in front of you, two hands and no twisting. When I do hit my glutes, I stand and lean a little forward on a counter. Relaxes the muscle and still gives me a clear shot without much twisting.

I agree that the quads are my favorite place to inject. I started with the glutes before getting enough balls to try the quads. Never done anything that had to be shot more than once per week though. The only thing I can recommend about shooting in the glute is that I always try to put all my weight on the leg opposite of the side of the shot so the muscle stays relaxed and doesn't spasm. I want to try test suspension for my next cycle and will probably venture into delt, calf, tri's and bi injections. Chest, traps and lats just seem way to crazy to me.

Yeah, weight on one leg, prop you other shin on something like a chair or the toliet. Relaxes the muscle, makes the shot easier IHMO.
