Default HGH questions not answered in the STICKY

I've been doing a fair amount of research about HGH and am considering using. I am an MMA fighter who plans to fight for the UFC (goal). From what i've read there is no efficient urine drug test (yet) to detect HGH. Supposedly they have developed a reliable blood test that could be ready for the end of this year but that is debated. Anyways, here are some questions.

Is HGH worth using for someone who is 22 years old? I've read alot about how it is much more helpful for older people to stay younger. I've read that IGF-1 levels are at a lifetime high in your mid-twenties anyways. Will HGH increase this even more?

Will the benefits of HGH remain after done using? I plan on using for 2-3 months (not sure what dosage yet). I've read that it can do everything from heal injuries to burn fat and gain muscle. Also i've read it can help you learn athletic techniques easier and quicker. Will the skills learned and changes to your body remain after you get off the HGH given that you don't become a slob and stop training/eating healthy?

Can anyone clear up the correllation between HGH and IGF-1 with causing/promoting cancer? I've heard different views on this. Some argue it can help CAUSE cancer. Others argue and say it may only help existing cancers grow quicker. Others have said to avoid it if you have hereditary predispostions to cancer (which i do). Anyone have any info on this?

These are three of my main questions for now but any information that you may think is helpful would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would not recomment using hgh at your age, natural production does not decrease until around age 28-30 so personally would not use if under 30 years of age

good luck to you

Yes. It's no different than supplementing with any anabolics or any other hormone. You produce a certain amount and if you supplement, then of course you will have higher than natural levels.

Will the benefits of HGH remain after done using?

No, again, just like using any supplement from creatine to anabolics or anything else, you benefit while using and when you stop, those benefits decrease back to a baseline level as well.

I plan on using for 2-3 months (not sure what dosage yet). I've read that it can do everything from heal injuries to burn fat and gain muscle.

This is basically true but only at a minimal additional level. Anabolics do all these things as well and at a much higher level.

Also i've read it can help you learn athletic techniques easier and quicker.

This is a joke. Where are you getting your info from... a comic book?

Will the skills learned and changes to your body remain after you get off the HGH given that you don't become a slob and stop training/eating healthy?

Your questions are degenerating from reasonable to very unintelligent. Do you really think it's possible that your skills learned has anything to do with taking or not taking HGH. Get real kid.

Instead of listening to people who may or may not have any clue as to what they're talking about, why don't you go do some real research yourself? Read the scientific journals that publish these types of studies. If you do, you'll find there's not a single published study showing HGH CAUSES any type of cancer. So all those people who want to say it can, are talking out their ass because there's zero science to back up what they're saying.

Of course already having a cancer and taking additional growth hormone would be rather stupid.

As far as you thinking you're predisposed to cancer, unless you've actually had a genetic test done on your chromosomes, and a lab has found the genetic markers for certain cancers, you have no idea whether you're "predisposed" to getting cancer or not. Just because members of your family have gotten cancer doesn't mean you're predisposed to getting cancer. You may have a statistically higher chance of getting cancer than someone else, but that's quite different than being predisposed to getting cancer.

These are three of my main questions for now but any information that you may think is helpful would be appreciated. Thanks!
Good luck,
MaxRep

GH gains are of a permanent nature if I am not mistaken...Unlike AAS, which does give you keepable gains if you know what you are doing

I know myself and an awful lot of people with real world experience with HGH who would disagree with you. Have you seen recent pic's of people like Dorian Yates and other retired pro BB's who were famous for the huge quantities of HGH they used?

I'm not really sure how you would think the gains could be permanent. It sounds like you may not have read any of the actual studies on this. Every study I've seen on GH that looks at whether GH causes hyperplasia or hypertrophy, either says more study is required or concludes hypertrophy is the reason for the lean muscle gains. No different than the gains from anabolics. There is no new muscle being created. Therefore, when the additional HGH is discontinued, the gains can not be completely kept, same as with the anabolics. What you keep is a factor of how close you are to your genetic maximum and your training and eating habits after discontinuing.

Best regards,
MaxRep
