Default Hard knots in biceps?

I have been injecting my bi's for some time now and sometimes I get really hard knots in my biceps that last for almost a week. Well I have some knots in my biceps that have been there for about two weeks now. My bicep strength has went to shit and also my bicep workouts. What causes these hard knots and is there any way to avoid them?

Knots will generally appear at every injection site. Hell, my glute still has a small but now painless knot from last wednesday!

Best thing to do is switch injection sites. Myself personally, I'm not too keen on bicep injections as they ruin my workout for the next few following days.

Wherever you may inject, it's probably a good idea to give the site a intense massage to prevent knots, swelling and pain related to injections.

Say for example you're injecting on a monday and working arms and chest on the tuesday. Injecting in the bicep I think is personally a waste as the knot you receive will limit your workout, hence, not gaining much strength as opposed to a glute injection.

I guess what i'm trying to say is, if you get knots and swelling on a regular basis as many of us do, don't inject where you're going to work out. Try hittin the glutes or tri's for a while.

Hope I've been some help...

Thanks for the info. I'll try it out.

I've never been a big fan of site injecting...I do feel it works to a point, but its definately not the holy grail of training as some people would try to believe...if you getting big knots that are uncomfortable...your arm training is beginning to suffer, and you are stressing over...sounds like your doing yourself more bad than good. Just switch to your delts...no pain(well usually), no stress, no suffering in training...just my opinion though.

I'd site inject only if I was using suspension. The reaction of the body to irritating substances such as esters, causing soreness and inflamation, is not a good idea for small muscle groups. Hell, it sometimes is unbearable in quads much less a bicep.

PEACE BRO.

spot injecting with prop works good too! also possible scar tissue could build up. you need to rotate injections sites and also take the advice above from the other bros. however i like to workout the muscle i inject ... for me it tends to help it disberse better. just my .02 good luck bro.
