Finally, a major television broadcast speaks some truth about steroids!!!
HBO Real Sports contacted me a few months ago about finding a steroid user
willing to go on camera about their effects. I sent them a copy of Legal
Muscle, gave them a lengthy account of the truth about steroids (which
surprised them), and referred them to a variety of folks including John
Romano, and Drs. Norm Fost and Karl Friedl. The end product aired tonight
on HBO, and will replay through the month. It is a ground-breaking
refutation of the steroid hysteria that has crossed the nation. They even
drive a stake through the heart of the persistent lie about Lyle Alzado's
demise. Romano and Fost, and aging steroid enthusiast Bob Klapp, all come
off credibly and articulately. The foil, steroid propagandist Gary Wadler,
comes off as a dubious alarmist. I'm elated about the end result, and
satisfied with my simple credit during the broadcast's end credits. What a
victory for truth, and something for me to effectively use in my clients'
defense. Please spread the word about it. If you missed it, check your
local schedules for replay times.

I watched that segment the other night and I have to say it was one of the BEST segments I have EVER watched about steriods. I totally believe that the country is just so informed that it is not funny. I wish that I could get that segment in a .avi or .mpg. it was just that good of a show. Anyone by any chance get that show recorded let me know. I would like to download it.

I feel better to know that if I used steriods that I am not alone and that it can be done safely. I appreciate all the good educated people that are on this board that have tried to help other people to educate them in the proper way of using steriods without fear or retribution.

I loved the segment when that guy stated "Show me the bodies", "Show me the people that are dead from using steriods safely"? The part about Lyle Alzado (sorry if I mispelled his name) stating that his doctor stated that it was not steriods that caused the cancer tumor in his brain. I could not believe the 70 year old guy that was using steriods and was still dead lifting something like 400 or 500 lbs. Very impressive and educated individual.

That segment really totally changed my thinking about all this doomsday issues about steriods. I feel much better.

I watched it last night and I thought it was a very good show. I also liked the part were he asked the guy to show him the bodies. It was good to see someone stand up and say if taking responsibly there are not really bad. We all already knew that they weren't good for kids and no one around here has ever said that they were. We have always talked about healthy adults.

Saw the show saturday morning. It was excellent. Finally, people from the Medical Community coming forth with the truth. Romano did a great job. Hopefully there will be more of this type of media coverage.

I recorded it and felt the show to be dead on. The people interviewed didn't go to such an extreme to say AAS have absolutely no side effects as to discredit themselves, but they said that in the proper hands and under the proper conditions, they can be used safely.

This is the first time I've seen anything on TV that was accurate regarding AAS.

It's the HBO segment in .avi u should be able to play it on your windows media player. Once your at the page, scroll down to the bottom and click free. Then you'll be brought to the download page, you'll see a counter counting down at the bottom, once it gets to zero, you'll see a file 'juice.avi' click to download. It's a large file but def worth the wait.

Finally, the truth (that most of us here at Meso already know) about AAS!!!
