hip pain from leg press

guys,
i did leg press's last night and my hips are killing me.its the upper thigh just below the waist. could it be arthritis? i hope not. same thing used to happen when i squatted. perhaps i should'nt go down all the way.

I dont think so, your legs were either too high up or too wide.

I am not a big fan of leg press myself.
I got pretty stong in them but little development.
Squats for me are the best development exercise for me.
