That seems about what I am going to try as well, but also running EC, as that seems like a good way to keep the fat loss high.
Hopefully I will have the strength/energy to continue some type of workout throughout the weeks on the cycle =)
Back to the questions for conciliator, I am currently running EC 25/200 Twice a day. I also take animal pumps, which is their pre-workout NO, creatine, and caffine mix. Is that too much caffine? I have read plenty of studies about caffine not really having major negative sides, and I don't drink coffee or anything else along those lines during the day.
I think you should be fine. Caffeine is a mild diuretic, so just be sure to stay hydrated.
There's nothing wrong with a longer, 5 week cycle of DNP. Many people have taken DNP for months at a time. However, you might end up wasting your DNP if you stick to 200mg/day. In 1937, Simkins did an extensive study on DNP in 100+ subjects. He found that there was a rapidly developing tolerance to the drug in the first couple of weeks of use. His solution, as was Cutting and Tainter's, was to simply increase the dosage of DNP to overcome the tolerance and keep fat loss humming along. I think that 200mg/day may be low enough that after 1-2 weeks you will have largely adapted to it. At this point, additional days at 200mg/day would have greatly reduced effectiveness. This may not happen to all people who take DNP, but it's certainly a common phenomenon. For this reason, I'd plan to increase your dosage if after 1-2 weeks you notice few to no side effects.
I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this, so maybe something I'm assuming about DNP is wrong?
-Using DNP Is like riding a bike,(doing cardio) how intense this cardio is depends on how much DNP you take.
-if I ride a bike at a slow rate for 2 hours a day,(take a small amount of DNP) and diet, eventually my body will adapt to the caloric deficit of the Bike and the bike won't burn as many calories,
so If I increase the intensityduration of the bike, I'll start burning calories again that will overcome my body compensating,
-That Minnosota study showed the highest reduction of metabolism is 30%, so pretty much if I take 400mg, no matter what, I'll have a 14% boost in metabolism?
Well, I have just past the 10 day point while on DNP. So far, I have lost 14lbs. First 3 days at 200mgs, next 5 days at 400mgs, last 2 at 500mgs. I also have been taking Benedryl daily. Never had any sort of rashes or hives. The first 8 days were a breeze. The weather was chilly out so I was very comfortable in a t-shirt and shorts. The last 2 days were getting tough. The weather warmed up and at 500mgs, I was constantly sweating. Even in T-shirt and shorts I was roasting. At night, I would wake up drenched. Window was open with fan on and I was still sleeping with no covers and sweating. I also started to feel slight flu symptoms. Kept taking my temperature and the highest I ever got was 99.1 degrees. That was only for one day. Now the weather has dropped back down where I am still hot, but not too bad. I think I am going to continue for another 10 days or so.
So far I am definitely happy with the results. I am also very glad that I am doing it during the winter versus during the summer. If it ws hot out, I don't think that I would be able to handle the side effects. With cold weather it is not too bad, but coupling the heat of the DNP and a hot day would be horrible. Even now everything is turning yellow and sheets need to be changed daily. They are soaked in the morning.
Phew, just finished reading the full article! I've always read these posts but this is the first time I've ever posted a reply! I'll bet money that I'll start spendin more time in front of my computer now!
A lot of interseting info in here. Was thinkin about taking DNP before and after reading this I think I will give it a try. Only problem is trying to source some, none of my usual sources can (or want to) get their hands on it. Anyone have any ideas if this stuff will be harder to find in the UK (where i'm gonna be for about 8 months)! Any help/ideas are appreciated!

Hello Conciliator... it's been quite a while but it's nice to see you still here and providing DNP advice. I am considering another cycle and just read this comment which seems to be a twist on some of your previous comments and advice to me during my 50-60 day cycle.
Interestingly though, despite that I continued to drop weight the whole time, I now think I would like to try a cycle that increases the dosage somewhat so I am trying to decide on the dosage and the cycle length.
I will continue to read and as always your advice is appreciated.
DNP seems to be the miracle fat loss 'supplement' for those who are obese and for some reason dont workout and are trying to loose weight by dieting. Bodybuilders have so many fat loss options that maybe dont worth trying DNP.
It is a great read. Lots of good examples that emphasize the importance of knowledge. It is amazing how the adverse effects come about -- generally by sheer stupidity.
This is certainly sarcastic, but a couple points from experience:
(1) A jury of your peers is likely NOT what you think it is
(2) The world is comprised, in general, of idiots
Ok, enough sarcasm for a Monday morning -- back to the salt mines
