The first time I used HGH I never went over 2.5 ius ed and usually less (I'm using it for anti-aging, not muscle-building) and never noticed any effect on my weight. Went off for a couple of months and started using again earlier this week at 3 ius ed (Jintropin). Coincidentally I also started cutting, but instead of losing weight my scales are pinned at the sam poundage as when I started cutting. Could it be that my weight has plateaued even though I'm cutting because the HGH is increasing my weight. If so, am I right in assuming that the extra weight caused by the HGH at this early a stage in the cycle is water? |

What else are you taking? ECA, t-3, AAS? |

I ran and 18mg kit yesterday, I'll do another one in 4 weeks and then on to the 22.5mg kits. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to run DNP for a short clip and try to lose some fat. Probably not for another 2 weeks though. Then it's on to the AAS and I have some long igf for the end of it all. Should be a fun ride. My goal is actually to get stronger and not gain much weight. I'll be running lower dose AAS cycles of things like Test, EQ, Var and mast. |

What's your knock agaionst nutropin? There's many anecdotes on the board that a type of HGH called Eurotech (same as Somaject?) at about 6 ius ed actually causes people to drop weight rapidly. Any theory about why certain types of HGH might have different effects? Quote:
Well that's good news, but it's hard for me to track this over time because I'm terrible at using calipers to meausre my body fat, and tanita scales are useless. |

Just to clarify, I advise against nutropin only because of its constant release, which will likely suppress the vast majority of your endogenous GH, so that you won't be able to time things to get that added benefit. However, if you get a good price and dose it right, then it's a good product. Very convenient/user-friendly too.

I think people's take on different effects of different brands of GH are not very sound. It's all the same sequence (except for the few brands w/ one extra amino acid) and purifying it is going to yeild pretty much the same purity levels no matter who does it. The anecdotal discrepancies in results with different brands are likely not due to the different brands at all but rather are due to other differences that may not be readily apparent at the time (diet, rest, workout, other supplements)
