i am by no means an expert here. i played with humalog which is a much faster acting with a shorter half life. someone correct me if im wrong here.
i too was leary of messing with it but the reading i was doing about the gains made me have to give it a go. by a glucose meter and read the sticky about
slin.
2 i/u's is a pretty low dose. i would do it right after working out and imidiatly drink a protein shake and some simple carbs, like gatorade. i would dring a quart and again an hour later. an hour after that i would eat a meal with carbs and protein. chicken and rice is what i ate.
just be careful your glucose doesnt go below say 60 or so. keep the gatorade close by. if you start to sweat or feel confused, drink! you can use dextrose or honey too.
the only thing i did not like was having to put so many carbs from processed shit!
