I want to say something...(Yep, another Rant)
A rant? Could it be? Another Rant coming from Phreezer? Yep, I do this about once a year or so.
Okay where to begin... I want to start off by saying that everyone needs to do research before they put any kind of substance into their bodies. Take the time to find out everything you can before you use something that can potentially harm you or be dangerous. AND FOR THE RECORD, Asking a question on a message board is NOT considered doing enough research.
There are a lot of people who claim to be experts on these type of boards. They give advice, they flame stupid questions etc. BUT, just because someone has a 1,000 posts and they offer advice doesn't mean that you should always take it. Myself included.
Look, I am not a Medical Doctor. I am simply a guy on an internet message board who happens to have some experience with what I'm talking about. I have some friends who also have some experience. We've spent some trying different approaches to certain ways of doing things. We spend some time looking over studies (Of which we have little more than a basic laymans understanding of) to help out knowledge. This does not mean that I am an expert and that my advice is always right or always concrete.
All I can share is my personal experience, and what little bit of knowledge that I've been able to obtain over the years. However, I am not a doctor. I do not even work in the medical field. Double check what ever advice I give you. Triple check it. Check out pubmed and medscape. Talk to different people and see what you can gather from them. Look up how drugs work. Half lifes, side effects, intended purpose, and physiological effects in the body. That is what doing research is...not just listening to a Mod or a Vet on an internet message board.
Honestly, do you really want to take the advice of a person you have never seen or actually talked to on the internet simply because he appears to know more than you?
People I do not know everything. Honestly what I do know pales in comparrison to many professionals. I know the basics. And I am quite capable of being wrong on things.
PLEASE, Please, do your research. Do not ever take the advice of some guy on the internet without double checking it. If not, you could end up with a nice set of breasts, on HRT for the rest of your life (because you need it) and possibly even worse.
This is not something for impatient people. If you are impaitent you are waisting your time, as in a year or two you won't even be lifting weights and you'll like you did before you started.
Sorry about the rant, but sometimes I hate to see people place to high a value on advice that is spooned out over the internet.. My own included.
good post i have been doing this for a couple of years now and done research and got test run , but i know about jack shit compared to professionals, if you look at my pos below that question is obvious...I am admitting i am to impatientand because of that i am having health issues (serious ones) and now I will no longer use...phreezer you are definelty right and i am sure my post was the straw that broke the camels back on these thoughts u were having
True, you should do research and taking advise from some Shmuck on the internet isn't wise. However, when it comes to AAS for BBing, sometimes word of mouth is the only source of information. As in IGF and other newer substances. Obviously it's not the best idea to take that advise, (just ask the ER Doc. from my last GHB experience about 10 years ago). My point is, talking to people with experiences in such things is a GOOD idea as long as you put it in perspective.
