Injection Help!! Practice went horrible:(

Hi guys,

I am injecting tomorrow and have been have been practicing a few times today. I began with just drawing water and technique which went fine. Then I used the actual amp and that is where it was a disaster...

I am using a 25gauge, 1 inch needle. Also, I am using norma hellas enanthate and have been told its extra thick compared to others...well when I tried to draw out the contents, I barely got any in by the time the plunger went to the top. I kept having to take out the syringe , turn it upside down and push down on the plunger and get the air out to reset where the plunger needs to be and draw out more oil into the syringe. I had to do this so many times. Is that even safe? I'm getting all the air out but a small amount kept coming out with it everytime I did this.
Then when I got about 85% of the oil in . I switched to a new sterile needle since I was hitting the original needle all over the inside of the amp. Then I tried injecting into a piece of fruit and I had to really push hard on the plunger to get the oil in.

Am I just being paranoid and need to be more patient?? I'm going to practice a few more times tonight on more norma amps(I bought a lot thank heavens)

Are you injecting air into the vial then drawing? It makes it easier. As for being hard to inject... just push hard, you could get a bigger needle but... 25 is pretty big.

Nope I didn't inject air into the vial, it's an amp, not sure if I need to??? I heard putting the amp in warm water will make it go in smoother, I'm not sure if that works?

This is a good point. You need to pull back an equal amount of air into the syringe before you push the pin into the vial. Once the pin is in the vial push the air into it, then draw your oil. Make sense?

Secondly, seeing how you shouldnt inject yourself with the same pin youll use to draw, I would switch to a 23g to draw and then you could use the fresh new 25g.

If its an amp, and you can't draw, Your needles to small then use a 23 gauge. Thats what I use.

Okay I'll go get 23guages, should I stick with the 1 inch needle size though?

Thats fine, if it reaches to the bottom of the amp. I also have a needle on the side just to draw out of the amps; then put the original back on thats sharp, because you can bend the sharp tip on the bottom of the amp very easily trying to get it all out. Bent tips hurt like a bitch.

I don't understand what the problem is. I hear what you're saying and it's really not that difficult. Inside the amp is sterile you don't need to change the pin unless you keep hitting the sides (dulling the pin, not in the middle of filling the syringe) if you are going to inject INTO YOURSELF. You changed the pin to inject aas into fruit

Heat the amp, open it, and put in the pin. Draw out the Test but keep the pin in the liquid so you don't get air in the syringe. If you hit the pin and think it's dull, change it after you get all of the aas in the syringe.

That's the easy part. Now you have to stick the pin in yourself

23g pins will work fine. just be patient.

LOL he wants bigger fruit.
He practiced with water. But when he tried test it wouldn't draw.
Its hard to get it all out without dulling the tip. Thats why I have one specially to draw; then put the one it came with back on and inject.

Okay I was using 25g and it wasn't going through . I just wanted to do everything to the orange that I would do on the real injection day , including a new sterile needle...yes I even cleaned it with an alcohol pad too...no laughing people please...

That fruit is going to get huge!!!. You better have eaten that fruit with your next meal!!!!! I am thinking about injecting all my fruit. You know when you got to a store or a restaurant and they have signs posted that say"No Hormones or Steroids in there products" Well I get disappointed and this is the solution!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the for real "tip" (appropriate for this conversation)though, sounds like you are making this far more complicated than it needs to be.
Run the amp in hot water in the sink and make sure drain is plugged. Dont want to loose the amp. After it seems to be warm and moving looser in the amp, crack it open. Tilt amp slightly sideways and I would use a 21 or 22 ga syringe with a inch and a half needle. A 1 inch needle will usually butt up against the broken edges of the glass amp when you place it all the way into to the corner of the slightly tilted ampoule to get the last bit out (I get wierd about that). You should not have any problems drawing up the oil now and do not cram it in the corner because it will bend. I usually never replace needle tips when using amps unless I have accidently done something like pushed really hard or I screw up opening it and I get a lot of glass in the bottom of the amp. This does happen from time to time. One of the nice things about amps is you do not have to use 2 needles! You will have to get air in the syringe to get the last bit out of the amp which is ok. In one motion I slowly tilt the syringe up as not to create many more bubbles in it and then draw more air in. Start flicking the syringe softly and the air bubbles will begin to float to the top. Then push up the plunger till the oil begins to enter the needle and hold to the light till you see a steady flow of oil come out of the needle and a drop run down the pin. This lubricates it a little also and now you are ready to inject. Just to let you know, there will be small air bubbles that you can not get out sometimes. This is not that big of a deal bro. You definetly want to do your best to get rid of what you can as not to leave an air pocket in your muscle, but please remember, this is going Intramuscular, not IV. Oh yeah, Please remember only to alcohol swab the injection site and maybe your hands. Do not do the needle!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay thanks!!! I just ordered 22g X1.5 inch needles and then a lot of 1 inch needles by themselves for the actual injection.
