Bigger is better for drawing for sure..bigger is not better for sticking.You will have to experiment some and find what works best..I use 20 gauge to draw and 22-23 gauge to stick.

I use 22 gauge to both draw and inject. Sometimes it's a pain in the ass to draw test and eq with the 22 gauge, but I can manage it. I like 22 gauge for shooting with a 1" needle.

I've gotten any and everything through a 25x1" for injects. Less scar tissue than 23 for sure. As for drawing, don't go larger than 20, as the 18 and larger can tear up the rubber stopper enough to cause parts of it to break off into your solution. Thus allowing the possibility of it being drawn up and injected. That's another reason to use a filter or at least the smaller gauge as I mentioned above. The smaller gauge would clog with most rubber particles, should it happen.
