"It may not have been funny for convicted steroid user Robert Luzinski but Judge Thomas Afleck certainly thought it was. When Mr. Luzinski asked to say a few words before sentencing ,the court gave him the floor. However, what happened next had everyone laughing including the characteristically stoic judge. Mr. Luzinski mentioned how he was stopped by local police for speeding during a late night joy ride with friends. As a patrolman approached his car he noticed a
syringe sticking out of the drivers shoulder. When the officer asked Mr. Luzinski to exit the vehicle he soon realized the driver was'nt wearning any pants or underwear, only a weight lifting belt. When arrested and brought to the local precinct ,officers asked the unlucky driver what he was doing with a needle sticking out of his shoulder. Mr Luzinski told police he was deathly afraid of needles but had to find a way to inject steroids in order to compete in a local bodybuilding show. He claimed his friends gave him heavy tranquilizers which put him to sleep.while asleep, his friend was able to do the injection without Mr Luzinski feeling a thing. However, because the friend was on drugs himself,he forgot to remove the
syringe. As for Mr Luzinski not having on any pants,he claimed his friends put him in the shower to sober him up before a night on the town. Mr Luzinski, who was still heavily sedated forgot to put on pants and thought he was going to the gym to do squats, hence the weight lifting belt. As for his friends, they were arrested for posession of oxycontin, valium, ghb, hash, and an open container of vodka.Because the syringe still had traces of the steroid
Winstrol,Mr Luzinski plead guilty to simple posession and recieved one year probation."
