Steroid Forum: This is a discussion on juice, tendinitis, and ibuprofen! within the Anabolic Steroids forums, part of the extensive steroid information at MESO-Rx; is there any issue with this combo?i just found out i had tendinitis...
Recent studies have shown that taking anti-inflammatories is counter-productive towards muscle hypertrophy. If you have tendonitis though, I would say follow the doc's orders and take the ibuprofen. Don't worry, the combo is highly unlikely to kill you.

Re: juice,tendinitis,and ibuprofen!
Recent studies suggest taking CERTAIN anti-inflammatories may be counterproductive towards muscle hypertrophy. However, these studies aren't done on men taking 500mg of test a week either.
I guess what I'm trying to say is you can take your ibuprofin up to 800mg every six hours without it putting any kind real type of damper on your hypertrophy traning. Ibuprofin doesn't effect protein synthesis till you've been on it for about six weeks or so regular. So you should be fine unless your dr has some kind of long term plan implemented.
With tendonitis, Remember R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression and elevation) 2-3 times daily for 10-20 min sessions.
HIgh dose of ibuprofen are hard on the liver and kidneys. You should fix your tendinitis problem before training hard on juice , thrust me i've heard some bad stories about pro bodybuilders abusing pain killer
Can you provide a link, because I scoured the internet, or at least I thought I did, I couldn't find anything ref. ibuprofen and liver/kidney function.
I've been running 600mgs twice daily for the past three weeks.
I go through times where I use the shit out of it too. I'm waiting for Deca to clear my system so I'm pretty sure I'm about to start using a lot of it again.
Tylenol - not anti-inflammatory but since you mentioned liver problems, it can cause liver necrosis. Again unlikely but you can increase your chances by drinking alcohol and taking a lot of tylenol.
if you are training with heavy weights and you are on heavy doses of ibuprofen, you may not get warning body's warning signal (pain) and end up severely injuring yourself. Lifting heavy weights while on ibuprofen is like leaving your car in a bad part of town with the alarm system turned off - it's asking for trouble
