hey fellas aint been on for a while cos I been promoted to manager at the bakery Im workin. but I've made time to train. Ive been doin a lot more extra hours and been tryin to eat more but Im not quite cuttin it yet.
In the process Ive pulled my hamstrings. Im pretty sure im not gonna start my next cycle till I feel tip top but have I to quit training my legs till it sorts itself out or carry on doin what I can. I dont want to lose the gains I have but dont want to injure myself any more! Im big on listening to my body! any thoughts
you know what to do, take a break from any heavy work on your legs, id just do more reps.. or find whatever method still keeps them active but not under stress..

You said you've pulled your hamstrings, meaning both legs?
Is it a tear or a strain?
I tore a hammy once after taking too much creatine when it first come on the market.I was preforming DB presses on a flat bench,my hamstring must have contracted and when I stood up it snapped like a twig, thats what it sounded like.I was like "ahhhh!" ?
The next day there was blood around that area and it took awhile for it to dissipate.
I was still able to do squats as it was a minor area of my hammy but couldn't do curls?
Weird.
There's quite a few different hammy injuries ,what did you do?

I sure remember when I was a young man tearing my hamstring and it was in the middle of a sprint. It sounded like a someone had popped a balloon. Was terrible. Anyway, I would get it checked out if you can and see what sort of damage you have done. If you have torn your hammy, it is really really important to massage, stretch and rehab. If you dont, you may get some fairly ugly scaring of the surrounding tissue. If its not a tear, usually rest will fix things up.

sounds like your injury was much worse than mine. mine just aches when ive been on my feet too long or when I do heavy work. I think1 more heavy workout would have done some serious damage. I take lots of creatine too, would takin too much have anything to do with injurys?
I think creatine is definitely a contributing factor to tight muscle injuries.
I've been using it in conjunction with Glutamine and taurine the other main muscle hydrators and have been experiencing no cramping and great muscle fullness and gains.

why is that is it because creatine can de'hydrate you to a certain degree? or so ive heard.
