Letter of Detainment???

Has anyone in here ever gotten a letter of detainment from custums? For instance, hypothetically someone ordered some gear offline then a month an a half later recieve a letter of detainment from custums in the mail. What does it mean? Anything else going to happen or is that the end of the story?

They send the letter{notice of detainment} which has a referance # and ask you to contact them regarding the items being detained.

Well it depends what it is
If its illegal, you take a wide circumference around the telephone.
I've had quite a number of them,but they were sent to post office boxes under a false names{these ones went in the bin}
I've had one sent to my house,which was regarding OTC supplements not clearly labeled,
when I called to explain the contents, they released it to me

I'm not following what you mean by a wide circumference around the telephone? If I got one of those letters and the package was in my name and it contained something illegal would I be better off not returning the phone call? I'm just wondering whether or not they would come looking for me if i never replied to their letter and just played dumb about the whole thing.

Yes you are correct,a wide circumferance around the phone means you dont go near it and yes you play dumb,very dumb.
If you are going to order a prescription product without a prescription and have it delivered to your home address, at least use a false name.
It makes it easier to play dumb.
Now you are going to ask me what if I have to sign for it,the answer to that is,the person that signs, is'nt required to be the person that the package is addressed to,its just so the postie boy can cover his ass and say he delivered the package with the proof of a signature.
If you are still paraniod ,just sit the package for a few days without opening it,then if the cops come kicking in your door you can say, there it is,I did'nt open it cos I did'nt know who it was for?

If you order a presciption drug........it's all at your own risk,you just have to minimise the odds of getting caught.

You know if we could have elected Ron Paul as president, in a few years we wouldn't have to worry about this kind of shit...I hate taking these risks, test is so easy to come by for me but whenever it comes to the stuff for PCT it's hard as hell to find locally. Thanks for the advice, you might have just kept my ass out of jail!

what about paying, i mean its done with a cc under your name, sure you can ship it under a fake name but what would that matter...if they know you ordered it they know who you paid for it... or am I wrong?

As long as you're ordering small (not for resale), you shouldn't have any worries.

The cops and the source are two different entities{lol} how are they{cops} going to get the info from the source about the purchasers name?

Any way just to be on the safest side if you are going to mail order in the USA,a domestic source using standard ground mail {wait longer no signature} is safest.
Or get a fake ID{drivers license} open some PO boxes and order the cheaper international way.
But keep it small,personal use department.

Or keep to the protein powder, creatine and mums home cooking
