Leydig cell desensitization

Hey,

My uro who is doing a restart on me has me doing 3 3000iu hcg injections EOD then 500 iu JCG injections EOD. I am completely shut down. Is there any rsk of leydig cell desensitization due to those first 3 shots. Honestly as much as I have read about leydig cell desensitization it scares the shit out of me. Should I be worried or am I overreacting. Please give advice.


Also, does anybody know a decent source for top quality generic clmoid. I am willing to pay a bit more if it actually works.

Listen to your doctor. You may be passed the point that Leydig cell desensitization even matters.

Well I was originally diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism. Pituitary was not work but balsl are fine. SUpposedly. SO I got put on TRT. Well Im young and interested in a restart. Doc prescribed me 3000 IU EOD HCG Novarel followed by 500 IU EOD until we start clomid treatment. What I'm concerned about is; has my use of HCG in high qunatiies for those initial injections caused permanent letydig cell desensitization? I was on TRT for about a month and a half of 200mg t-cyp injections EW before deciding to do a restart. My balls are quite plump since starting the HCG. Tey fluctuate in size throughout the day but are consistently bigger with the HCG but I dont feel a whole lot different since I started doing the 500 iu injections rather than the 3000 iu injections. COnsidering this I am worried greatly. Its been over 2 weeks since I started the injections. The big shots were over 3 weeks ago.

COnsidering the big shots, when I start clmoid only is it possible the LH wont cause a testicular response due to my HCG injections? I dont want to be on TRT for life but I dont want to think in the process of treating my secondary hypogonadism I have developed primary hypogonadism as well.

DO you or anyone have experience with these large doses of HCG. IS 2 large shots like that possible to cause my testes to not even respond to my own LH?

I was on for two years then used 1 x 5000hcg amp and it brought the testis up to size in just over one week.The thing is, the testis will come back up quick and easy with the hcg mimicking LH.
The problem is that the pituitary may not restart production of LH for months.
So I think your concern is miss directed.The hcg shouldn't be too much, I have heard of people taking 10000 with out issue.
Worry about the pituitary, thats where the real delay is.

ALso, are you saying that even with use of CLOMID it may take months for the pituitary to start pumping out LH? Or it takes months with no intervention? Thanks either way. You have given me quite a bit of insight.

Even with all the PCT drugs in the world, it can take months for the pituitary to start production of LH again.
I've tried coming off twice with blood tests and gave up the first time after 10 weeks and 12 weeks the second time {using a vast array of PCT ancillaries}with LH still at around the zero level.
This is why people must be very sure that they are prepared to use steroids for the rest of their lives if they want to use them at all or be prepared for a great weight loss, for an extended peroid,when they do come off.
You can get away with a few cycles when you are young but it will get you in the end,lol

You are the first person to ever tell me that even clomid may not raise LH and FSH levels. Man that worries me but honestly I have felt so bad on TRT even with HCG and AI I am going to give it a shot. Doc was willing to give me 200mg of t cyp a week 500iu of HCG EOD as much ADEX as I could ever want but it left me feeling like shit with hardly any libido and on some days none at all. God its been a nightmare. I was normal up until July when all of a sudden very rapidly within a timer span of a week I developed secondary hypogonadism with no explainable cause. Anyways, I am going to try clomid, heavy squats, healthy eating, anything to get my own LH pumping again. Even if I am on clomid long term thats better than the constant injections, the emotional rolercoaster day to day. God I wish this had not have happened to me. I have only been on TRT since late july. ANd I took my last t cyp shot on Monday.

Does anyone think restoring natural LH and FSH levels is unrealistic?

I was always of the notion that clomid would raise your LH and FSH but the problem was if LH and FSH would stay elevated after disconinutation of those drugs. Man I learn somethign new everyday.
