I just got my lab work back. I haven't taken any oral roids or injectable roids for during the last 4 months and my liver enzyme values are borderline. In between I have taken Finigenx(prohormone), andro, tribulus, amino acids, fish oil, flax oil, glucosamine, green tea capsules, and occasional NSAIDS but not much up to the day of the labs. I just took recently a 1/2ml of both deca and test. Can someone give me some advice on what to do or not to do. I have Milk thistle and liv 52 should i even take that? Is there a Doctor in the house? LOL LOL
Either way you could take some liv 52 (much better than milk thistle)
take a couple of tabs a day for a month or so. THen go again and you should be fine. were the prohormones orals? If they were then thats what has caused your elevated enzymes. Also what was your cholesterol like?
hey bro they didn't give me specifics in the letter, just that the enzymes are borderline. The prohormones were orals, my good cholesterol is 45 (38-63) bad cholesterol 147(130 below is good). 206 total. probably could eat cleaner. Should I continue the injectables I started or what?
the injectables shouldnt pose a big problem to your liver. Its the orals that have to be broken down by the liver.
You need to ask them for a copy of your results. If they wont give it then ask for your alt. That will tell you what your liver is like.
But there is no reason why they should not give it to you. Its your right.
Once you get the results then you can have a proper look.
dont worry too much about it. My guess is their fine. If when we see the alt, they are really high, we can request a hepatitis test. But otherwise the stress bbers put on their bodies are bound to elevate liver enzymes slightly, especially due to the high amounts of protein eaten.
First and foremost....Check you Alcohol intake... If you are not a drinker than are you taking anything containing Aceteminophin? Have you started any new prescription meds lately?

My guess is the prohormones have you out of wack due to they have to be filterd through the liver.
Did your doc seam concerned about the elevated levels or did he just mention it in passing?
he stated that they were borderline but normal and that he wanted me to do a hepatic panel anyway
Not a bad idea to be safe, but you should mention to him about the
pro-hormones if you haven't already just so he doesnt run a bunch of tests for nothing or at least he can make the decision. If you are not taking anything else and stay away from tylenol your liver values should come back to normal in a few months as long as you have no other illnesses.
