I don't exactly know why, but can say that I had the same problem. I have permanent lumps under my skin now, due to over use I suppose. But if you got them from your first time, I'm not sure. How long have they been there?
If its your first cycle its probably just your muscle reacting to something foreign entering it and swelling a bit. It happens and should go away within a week. I personally dont think its the compound persay, just a bad injection.

What length of needle did you use? Did you go deep enough into the muscle? Are you rubbing the injection site after the injection and throughout the day?
have not done deka in a while prob. in 6 years or so, i used a 23g 1- inch.pin .I did rub it out and tried a heating pad the first injection lump is about gone ,took about 12days . someome also said it could be an alergic reation to the deka ? I was wondering what else it could be and do you guys think i should stop taking it ?
yeaa maybe you just didnt use a long a enough needle - i always use a 1.5inch - or a 1inch at the minimum when i inject into my glutes ... maybe you injected improperly or at an angle - some of the oil may have gone into the sub-layer of fat between the skin and the muscle - ive gotten a painful little bump before - from prop injections ... but it subsided in a few days ...

hey bros someone else i know used the same stuff i got and same thing happened ..could it have been a bad batch....it came from a well known suplier.... i have used many of there products before and they were great Hey ironhorse not sure what ventro is ? I have used 1 inch for EQ many times in my glutes with no problems
ventrogluteal is a injection site. Its more in the hip area. Very nice site, and can hold up to 3ml each injection with very litte post injection pain.
I still say you may have gear with high BA content, or just not careful enough while pinning. Do you get shaky or move the needle around while its in place? All in all, I dont think its anything to worry about.

A great place to inject!
I definitely think 1' needle is too short, go with 1'5 needle.
Ironhorse might be right the BA maybe a little high.
