Default For those who never come off!

Briefly, my cycle history: I have been using AAS steroids for the past 3 years. In the last year I have reached a point where I cannot maintain my mass after cycles, even with PCT. I have tried everything. You may laugh at this, but my sticking point is 210lbs solid at 6,3”. Then again, I have a super-fast metabolism.

I have come to the conclusion that like most big lads in the gym I will have to stay on year-round with periods of heavy cycles followed by light gear usage (bridge, no PCT but HCG every 8 weeks).

I just want to know what some of you guys do in a typical year of continuous AAS use, i.e. dosages used for cycles & bridges, length of both & how much of gains do you keep from bridging.

All input is greatly appreciated.

i have the same trouble. I always run a small bridge of 200mg primo per week and 20mg var in the morning ED. I know alot of people who use 10mg dbol first thing in the morning and have said that it helps alot.

I think you need to check your diet and see if it is good enough to maintain mass. i believe if you are not on a good nutrition plan you want be able to keep the gains or to improve. You will lose some gains no matter what you do, but losing all of the gains there is something that you aren't doing right. Not saying you don't know what you are doing, but maybe your diet or something needs to change in able for you to keep your gains.

It's definitely something with the diet. 6'3" can hold a LOT more than 210lbs if you're eating enough.

That is what i was trying to say, but didn't want to affend him. I am 6'3 also and i have a super fast metabolism too, but I was eating like a mad man even after my cycle and i am at 235 pounds. I gained a total of 24 pounds, and lost 10 of it. So i think your right, i think his diet needs adjusted.

Definitely don't stop because you're off cycle. That's dumb. A dude who wishes to be big must eat huge quantities of food at all times; on or off drugs.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your replys!

I bulk with 5000 kcals per day & that works.

For maintenance I eat 3500 kcal per day & 250g protein.

I do take 2-3 months off so maybe that is the reason for loss of gains.

I am going to try a very different cycling approach this time, from doing longer cycles I am switching to shorter cycles, i.e. do 6 weeks ON - 6 weeks OFF & only use fast-acting stuff.

BB,

Kcals and protein are far to low when off. Whatever was required to get you gaining weight (in terms of protein / kcals) you will need that minus 500 or so to maintain. cutting your kcals by 1500 and dropping protein when coming off is just asking for loss of mass. Next time maintain or slightly increase kcals in first week off, run creatine to encourage holding on to intramuscular water then maintain kcals at 4500 when off and go as high as 6,500 when "on".

If you cant do this with food then blend things and drink it. For example...

200g oatmeal, 4 heaped tablespoons peanut butter, 4 tablespoons flax seed oil, 1/2 gallon skim milk, 150g whey protein powder, fruit or chocolate milkshake mix for flavour / more kcals.

Mix in food processor to make thick shake. Drink throughout day in addition to usual 6 meals. Gain weight.

G.

I get a little frustrated when I see people talking about cutting their calories by 30% when off a cycle... then wondering why they can't maintain their size... and coming up with the conclusion that the answer is more steroids.

As Gavin has said, the answer is not to use more steroids... or use a different type of cycle... the Answer is to eat more.

Good luck,
MaxRep

P.S. 210 at 6'3"...? And to think I feel small at 5'7" and 220.
If 210 is all you can get to on 5k calories/day then you need to up that by at least 1,500 to 2,000 calories/day.

If you really want to make continuous gains, then remember, eating to get big is not something you do when you're hungry. You should feel stuffed every minute of the day.
