What drama this is going to be too...everyone is going to plead the 5th, and then in the next few days Congress will start promoting its next episode of "Juiced" complete with more people testifying and they will all be granted immunity, thus compelling them to tell the truth. I just can't wait to see what Don Hooten has to say, and I am also wondering where Charles Yesalis is during all of this? He is usually one of their favorites.

Well, other than Canseco it looks like the panels are stacked entirely with aas = death people. So much for truth and objectivity.

I just had a thought (happens once in a while)...

all these senators are going nuts about the steroid issue. I wonder how many of them are on TRT.

Jeez, would that not be great to find that Tom Davis or John McCain was on TRT? I wish we were in Congress, we could just subpoena their asses when we felt like it and make them tell us the truth to satisfy our curiosity and stir up public interest.

Oh how the stories about the evils of AAS would change if that information did come out that half the senators were using test. "Well, its ok since Im under a doctors supervision." Wait...isnt that exactly what all the rest of us want, too, to be able to use under an informed doctors supervision? But as with social security...whats good for senators is not good for the rest of America (they dont pay into SS).

This is the problem that happens when you start demonizing a particular drug such as anabolic steroids...

They have to start creating a new terminology to justify their use of the very same drug they demonize.

"Anabolic steroids are evil. I would never use steroids or tolerate their use by anyone else. Steroid users are going to die and go to hell."

"Yes, I am prescribed testosterone replacement therapy by my doctor. No, testosterone is not a steroid. There is a big difference between testosterone AND steroids. Testosterone is health-promoting. Steroids are death in a bottle/pill!"

You know, we use the term "steroids" on here to describe all anabolic-androgenic, muscle-building substances, but we know that there are different kinds...I have a feeling that a lot of people believe that there are just these magical pills in a bottle labeled "steroids" and that if you take them you will transform overnight into Lou Ferrigno (Arnold is no longer worthy of mention).
Whenever you see a news report on AAS, they will sometimes have a 10cc vial in the background with a label on it that says "steroids"--no wonder why people think this.

It's like when these articles written by pencilneck reporters say "human growth hormones"-- it is human growth hormone, not hormones!! This is not esoteric steroid-user terminology, but rather it is something that would be easily found if these ignoramuses knew how to use google.com!

A bottle of testosterone is not "steroids", as many will say. Some people as you noted do not even realize that injectable testosterone is in fact a steroid. The clowns who drew up the first steroid act even listed some substances twice under different names...like putting cars and Hondas together on a list of banned items. This at least was corrected with the new bill.

Why do people have to be so dumb? That is my question for the day.

I brought that up on another board many times. But I can understand the politicians stance. I mean it would be political susicide to even suggest that AAS has some medical benefits and that some of these adolescent amatuer athletes are taking "sports enhancing drugs" because their coach, parents or even the so-called guru in the community is suggesting so.

But I don't care what anyone says, I still believe that even with all the scrutiny and scandals involving AAS-this is the best time to be a source provider.
