I was wondering if I did a going away cycle... Does anyone know if the military tests for these drugs and what drugs they test for--if they do? Since, they upped the age limit... It's just a thought. I still might not even join, but I don't want to be the guy trailing behind in basics. I want to be the super achiever...

hey phist, I just got out of the army about 3 months ago, to your question about the aas, no they do not test for for them coming into the military, the only way you would be tested is if after your in and they suspect you may be on aas, but still this happens very seldom. good luck

You'd be better off just running and chinning and pushuping all day long as opposed to doing a cycle if you're looking to be the top dog in boot camp. AS will do nothing for your cardio and the added muscle mass surely won't make your knees or lungs any happier during a couple mile run.

Yeah, plus basic is 10 weeks. It would be impossible to inject while in basic so you'd be coming off a cycle without pct... it's just not feasible. I was in five years. If you head into combat, then I'd definitely do a cycle. I really couldn't think of a better reason to do one provided it's not over the top body builder (no offense) dosages. I really suspect that under combat stress your body is producing more natural test anyway.
