Default My first deca/test cycle. Suggestions?

After much research of P/H’s and a deca/test cycle, I have made the choice of going with an 8 week cycle of deca/test. I have talked to many people and read copious amounts of information and feel that I am fairly knowledgeable on my decision. The doses of deca and test will be considerably lower than what the average bodybuilder might use. This is due to wanting a gradual cycle of anywhere from 10-20 pounds of lean muscle gains, while providing me with the lowest possible chance of side effects. I am concerned about gyno symptoms, but feel confident in controlling them with a proper pct. The side effect that is my main concern is hair loss and I want to do everything necessary to prevent it from happening. I will run 200mg of deca, and also 200mg of test a week. I am running the test at 200mg for more a leveling out effect on the deca, but also to give my body enough test to perform slightly above average. I know a lot of people usually run around 400mg of deca a week, and 400-500mg of test a week. That is more than what I am looking for. Below I will give you my stats, cycle plan, other supporting supplements, and pct. Please help critique my cycle and plan. I am looking for people that have done test/deca cycles and can give me real life experience and knowledge. Also if you are a doctor feel free to give me your advice as well. Please do not tell me I need to up my calories or any nutritional info feedback. I need advice and help on a deca/test cycle. Thank you for your help.

Height: 6’1”
Weight: 190
BF: 14%
8 week cycle test/deca
weeks 1-8: 200mg test E, 200mg deca.
weeks 1-8: 1mg of Propecia – Proscar
weeks 1-8: OTC
Glutamine
L-arginine
Milk thistle
Protein (190grms a day)
Biotin
Saw Palmetto
Fish oil
Multi vitamin
B-6



**? Does anyone think that a .5mg of liquidex/Armidex every other day during the cycle is needed, or is that over kill? I know that liquidex/Armidex prevents bloating and gyno, but does not stop it immediately like nolvadex. Input???


PCT: 14 Days after last injection.
Days 1-20: 20mg Nolvadex
(will this be sufficient for a pct to keep my gains and stop gyno? Do I need any other products for keeping my gains or having my body get back to where it needs to be naturally?)
weeks 1-8: OTC will be used as well during pct.
Glutamine
L-arginine

congrats you did your research. you have hair loss covered. and i would expect 10-20lbs from the cycle u are on. i use clomid and hcg for pct and nolva forn anti e during cycle. careful with a-dex too much will rob you of gains and weaken joints setting you up for injury. use only what you need to control sides.if i use a-dex its 0.5mg/every day or every other day.

I think your cycle is to short and not strong enough...even for a newbie..i would stretch it to at least 10 weeks and up the doses to what you stated in your post, it takes about 5 weeks for it to even kick in if you arent jumpstarting it with an oral of some sort..trust me im on week 5 of a test/deca cycle...you seem a little small for your height... I would train naturally and eat eat eat until you reach over the 200lb mark and then maybe jump on the gear(i know i know you dont want any nutritional hoo hah) then you will break past a plateau and explode with growth..good luck, welcome to the boards and I hope you get that 20lbs your looking for!!!

this is what it is bro. i think this brother has givin some very sound ad vice. i low ball things because i think that less is better at first. you will make nice gains either way, but do yourself a big favor and keep asking ?that is why we are here.

Like Dzaster stated, I would at least extend the length of the cycle even if you dont up the dosages. Although, 300mgs of each a week will give substantionaly more results while still keeping sides min. Keep the adex on hand just in case, but at such low doses it most likely wont be needed. Also, make sure and run the test one week longer than the deca as the half life of deca is much longer that that of the test e.
Now, let me ask you, why do you not want any nutritional help?

200 mgs of test per week is TRT,need to go higher like the guys are telling you.400/deca 10 weeks and 400 test 12 weeks.Like bench said,lets discuss the diet and goal.....

I will discuss my diet with you all. I just needed to know some facts and info on the deca test cycle. Just wanted to keep it simple and direct. I have decided to continue my cycle for ten weeks since that seems to be what eveyone is agreeing on. I am considering uping the test amount to 250 mgs a week. 125mg on mon, and 125mg on thur. I am trying to keep my sides as low as possible while still being able to gain some lean muscle and loose some bf. I will give you more on my diet soon. Basically it will include a lot of protein with and average amount of calories. I dont want to gain fat at all. I am definitely open to suggestions for a diet plan though. My favorite protein meal to eat, which i am eating twice a day right now is: 1 can of tuna, 1 avocado, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 1/2 cup black beans, and a 1/2 cup of corn. So good! But any help on a solid diet and wieght loss would be nice too. Thanks!!

I forgot to say what my goal is:
lower my bf
gain 10-20 pounds of lean muscle
get a more shreded look. More definition.

Up your protein a bit more. Also, make sure to have SOME carbs in there. Start at 200grams of carbs a day and see where you are from there. Also, make sure to get 40grams of healthy fat. If you start to flatten out, dont worry it will prob be bloat. You can take adex to limit that. Or you can lower your carbs a bit more. Are you prone to gaining fat?
