Default My first real cycle

Hey all,

Looking for critiques of my first real cycle. I was a dumbass a couple years ago and ran my first attempt without all that much research. It was 150mg / of Tren. (i know i know). Didnt eat right and was very limited cardio. The only thing good i did was a decent pct. So after much more research I am attempting a new first cycle and would like to know what everyone/anyone thinks.

Stats:
26 yrs old (lifting consistently for 4 years)
5'10" 235
16% bf

Cycle:

10 Weeks
600mg/week of triple blend test (200mg test p,e,c)
.25mg adex ed (im willing to trade a bit of muscle for the safety)
Nova on hand just in case
Animal stack multi, milk thistle,B12

Lift 4x week (standard muscle groups)
Cardio 3x wk 20 mins day

Diet: 4,000 to 4,500 cals/day 40/35/25 carb/pro/fat

PCT:

Week Nolvadex HCG Aromasin Vitamin E
1 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
2 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
3 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
4 20mgs/day 20mgs/day
5 20mgs/day
6 20mgs/day


I have a few questions: I understand that there will be considerable water retention during the cycle, but what can i do to limit that? Also do my cals seem a little low?

I would not use 600 mgs of test each week bro.250-400 mgs would be more realistic.I would also have the adex on hand but not use it unless needed.You might not retain much water at all,hard to say about that.Never say "4000-4500" cals..it has to be one or the other..be specific each day and consistant with diet.PS..the adex will help with water..also how you eat will determine how much water you hold.You have not listed your objective for this cycle..I am guessing you want all out bulk..list the gym routine next.Include: heavy rows/major squats and big huge deads.

i wouldnt run 600mgs per week, it will not be needed, seem as though your first cycle was a bad one, lets forget about it and call this you first ever.

it shoot for 250-500mg test per week and no more, you can use the adex if water becomes to much of an issue, use no more than 0.25mgs of adex.

the adex you may not even need as the water weight will come down to your diet and aromitisation, try cut out as much salt and sodium throughout your diet as possible.

4000-4500 is to far apart, always know exactly what your eating all day every single living day cal for cal, theres no room for guesses as you already learned the first time round and so did i.

your a big guy at 230lbs already, you may need more cals at that bodyweight but i couldnt say how much more, the other guys will be able to tell you this.

Thanks for the opinions so far. I've decided to run 400 a week since its my first true test cycle.
I will keep the cals at 4,500. 6 meals a day emphasising carbs in the morning transitioning to emphasising proteins in the later meals.
My goal definitly is mass, however as stated I was willing to sacrifice a few lbs of muscle for the limiting of fat gains. After this cycle I want to get absolutely shredded by spring time. I will severely limit my sodium intake too.
My 4 days of lifts are:
1.) back/bi
2.) chest/tri
3.) legs
4.) shoulders

I usually lift around 5:30 pm ( just after afternoon shake)

four lifts per muscle group on the multi group days and six lifts for the single group days.

I always hit the multi-use group lifts (deads, cleans,squats, rows).
