Need feedback on estradiol situation

So I (finally) got my hormonal salival kit back today and it turned out that my Estradiol level was high.

(9 pg/ml with the labs normal range being 0.8 to 6.6).

When I started my cycle my bf% was around the 16.5-17% mark. Yes, I am aware this is fairly high for someone starting an AAS cycle.
With this in mind I limited my cycle to just 400 mg. EW of Test E, 40 mg. of ‘Var per day and 0.5 mg. of Adex every 3rd day.
I thought this was a fairly aggressive approach if anything.
This is what I was taking at the time the aforementioned salival kit was sent away.

Shortly after I unfortunately cut out the Adex altogether.

It’s always possible that the Adex I took was bunk, however my only option is to start using the same stuff again until my new stuff gets here (hopefully by the end of the week).

My question is, given my troubles so far what would be a reasonable approach to make sure it gets back down well within the normal range??
I’m trying to decide between 1 mg. every 3rd day or 0.5 EOD, though I was quite surprised with the result and am really not sure…

I will also be cutting out Anavar so that in itself could lower sides of estradiol, at least a little bit.

All feedback is greatly appreciated as I’m really stuck at the moment.

First, was the test only for estradiol or was another hormone tested at the same time?

The reason I ask is that if there is even the tiniest invisible droplet of blood in the saliva, saliva tests are completely inaccurate and give falsely high readings. Sometimes spectacularly so.

So if another hormone is tested at the same time and it too is strangely high, this gives reason to suspect the test.

But if there is no other hormone tested, it's pure guesswork.

I would do a second test and not brush the teeth for nearly a full 24 hours before the test. Regardless that it is good hygiene to brush more frequently than that.

You can certainly try increasing the Arimidex dosage in the meantime. If you feel loss of libido, have joint problems or feel depressed, you've likely overshot. This is simply enough solved by allowing time completely off of the drug before resuming a more moderate dose.

My testosterone was 2000 pg/ml (lab had 100-1000 as normal) and DHEA was 148 (6-18 mcg’s as normal).
I should also add that I was completely sure the gear I was taking was bunk as I have been on test/var for over 6 weeks and not only had no increase in strength, muscle etc. but while cycling I had felt no different in any other way either.

The A.M Cortisol level however came out as 0.71 mcg’s with 2-11 being normal.
I didn’t put much thought into this as I work night shift (and have a reversed sleep pattern), and was sort of expecting it to come out low.
Certainly the only thing that wasn't a huge surprise here though.

I had last brushed my teeth maybe 11 or 12 hours before the salival sample.

Do you think the low cortisol level cancels out any possibility of salival contamination??

I’m quite tight on cash at the moment but will probably go for another testing a couple weeks after my new dosings.
I took 1 mg. of Adex yesterday and am thinking about doing so every third day in the meantime.

It probably does make it unlikely. But I really don't know whether it is also relatively common to have errors such as only 50% from that cause. In any case a second test would be desirable.

Hopefully your new dosing will work well for you.
