Need Help!! Got busted with a bottle!!!!!!

tonight my friends and i were chillin at his house smokin weed when the cops showed up. he handed me the weed and i ran back in his room and stashed it in his file cabinet where he keeps his pins, b-12, arimidex and a bottle of test with the label torn off. i didnt think about it when i did it but they ended up getting a search warrant anyways so they would have found it. they interogated him for an hour didnt say anything about what charges he may get or has. they took all his shit and told him they would call him. my question is what kind of trouble is he going to get in for a half empty bottle of test? they thought testosterone wasnt a steroid. we said it was test and they said oh its just test, not steroids. he also had a shotgun in his apartment. there was only a pinch or two of weed. please respond with any help as soon as you can. hes scared and so am i

They had a search warrant when they came or he let them search?? They'll probably turn it over to the DA and it will be up to him whether or not to press charges.

If he let them search he never should have.

its an apartment so as soon as he opened the door they smelled the weed so they already had probable cause. they looked around inside the apartment and found pipes and shit. then they asked where the rest of the weed was and i took him in the back where it was hidden in the file cabinet with the juice. only after that did they say they were going to get a search warrant so they could really search the apartment. hes never been in trouble and it had to of been less than 10ml of juice, what do you think the worst possible outcome could be?????

Worst possible outcome would be probation. For such a small amount they may not even fool with it.

There are probably some guys here who have been in that position that may can give you a more definite answer. But since he's never been in trouble he'll never do any time that's for sure.

the cop also said that too. probably just probation. i guess they asked more questions about the two pinches of pot than anything. they didnt know what b-12 was and the way we explained what the shit was for and what it did i think they just believed that it wasnt steroids. he told them it was just vitamins

for a first offense he'll probably get 1 yr probation (ask for deferred adj.) which he can get off in 4 months, a few hundred $ fine, and around 50 hrs of community service.

What state do you live in (I ask that because of the weapon found in the apartment)? Was it loaded? Why did the cops come anyway if you were just Chillin'? What has his lawyer said? Why keep your gear so in the open? Why hide the weed in the medicine cab next to the gear? If they confiscated some items from the apartment, why he was not arrested and what did the copy of the confiscation form say (should be on the back of the form regarding response time and his possible options regarding this matter)? Why are you smoking weed?

Seems like there is much more you should be doing than asking us.

Evaluate the options and talk to a professional such as a lawyer regaring this matter ASAP.

Their line of questioning tells you the weed is much more important to them. Unless you have an overly zealous DA, the test thing will just go away.

I doubt the DA will bring any charges for this-and I don't think they will call him;they never do that-you won't hear from them again but you could file to get your stuff back if they took something other than the weed or test., and a cop smelling pot isn't really probable cause; the smell of pot varies too much as that 'skunk' smell can be a number of things-that may sound silly but thats the way the judge usually looks at it; you can still hold him at the door if all he says is he 'smells' pot; the judge will likly throw out everything he found

From here on out don't say shit unless its to your lawyer.... Posession can be felony. I had a C/D only 25cc of test. 6k in lawyer fees later dropped to 100hrs comm serv. but the man was pushing felony. this was a long time ago but the the laws havnt changed.

why does it matter why i am smoking weed? they didnt just smell it. the apartment is small so as soon as they opened the door smoke rolled out. i paniced and put the tray with weed in the file cabinet. we dont keep shit out in the open. all the form said that they gave him was a descriptive list of what they found and thats it
