New member, planning first cycle

Alright guys, here is a rundown on myself -

At the moment, I am 19 years old and will be turning 20 this October. I have been interested in the science of anabolics for years but have waited to perfect my training and dieting until seriously considering undergoing a cycle.

I have been lifting since freshman year of high school for football. Initially, I went simply to please the coaches. Eventually, I became more interested in lifting than football itself. Around my junior year I began to take weightlifting seriously. I began to follow a constant regimine and made sure my diet was in check. I then became addicted to bodybuilding.

Current Stats:

Height - 5'9"
Weight - 170 - 175
BF % - 10

Bench - 250
Squat - 350
Deadlift - 415

Training:

I have experimented with several splits and training technique, but always end up returning to my bread and butter - MAX-OT. I have gotten the greatest gains from this style and have followed the program for 2 straight years.

Diet:

I eat a minimum of 8 meals / day. My diet is rather simple and somewhat instinctive. Throughout the day, I generally alternate shakes and whole food meals.

Sample -

Meal 1 - Whey Shake

Meal 2 - Egg Whites, Oatmeal

Meal 3 - Meal Replacement Shake

Meal 4 - Tuna, Veggies, Oatmeal

WORKOUT

Meal 5 - Whey Shake

Meal 6 - Chicken, Brown Rice

Meal 7 - Meal Replacement Shake

Meal 8 - Chicken, Brown Rice

I could go into detail about the serving sizes but I'm trying to keep it simple. Also, the Whey/MR shakes contain more than typical powder. I always implement additives such as olive oil, bananas, and/or peanut butter.

Planned Cycle:

On October 10, I will be competing in the NPC Tri State Championships in the teen division. I want to do one bulking cycle prior to my cutting diet, which will start 10 weeks out.

I have recieved some warnings in the past saying that I am too young to undergo a steroid protocol. However, I feel that the simplicity of my cycle as well as my certainty to run it correctly will be the deciding factor.

Here's what I plan to run.

Weeks 1-10: 500mg/Test E - I will be doing 250/mg injections Monday morning and Thursday night.
Weeks 12-15: Clomid - 50mg/day

I will also have Nova on hand during the entire cycle incase any sides come up.













Also, two weeks from now, I have a doctor's appointment for bloodwork / etc. I know that I am doing a relatively mild cycle, but since I am starting at a young age, I want to be sure everything is in check.

Also, I initially had considered running arimidex through the entirety of the cycle. I have been advised by some, however, to exclude it because my cycle is so mild.

Thanks man.

In that pic, I was about 160 @ 7%.

Now, I put on 10 - 15 pounds, but I still look fairly shredded.

For your first cycle you might want to think about going with 8 weeks, but at least your dose is right for your first cycle. I used the shorter acting test prop my first time because I wanted to be able to stop faster if I did not happen to like the way things were going. I am sure that you will have more bros from this site argue that there are more advantages to the Test E, so don't let me cause you any doubt.

Start your PCT about 7 to 10 days after your last injection of a long lasting ester like Test E and increase your Clomid dose for the first week.

This assumes that you are starting PCT in week 12...

100mg ED days 3 - 7
50mg ED for the next three weeks


About your diet... I eat more veggies. I eat them all day. I like to ensure that I have enough fiber and nutrition.

About starting your cycle so young... You are still growing. Unless you were one of those guys who was shaving in the fifth grade, your body is still developing bro. I waited two years before starting college after high school so I was a little bit older than the average kid in my class at the university. I still waited till my junior year of college before taking anything more than store bought supplements. I did not start with the gear till I knew that I had my "man" body and that I really was never going to curl more than 180 and bench more than 320. (I sucked at bench press till I started using a wide grip.) My long drawn out point is that if you decide to start with this cycle you are basically saying that you are willing to give up any growing that your young body may still be doing.

If I were you I would wait two years.

So instead of starting my PCT at week 12, you would suggest 7 days after my last injection?
Also, would clomid be the ideal PCT for such a cycle? I could use Nova as well.

I always hear people talking about taking both Nova AND Clomid for post cycle. I don't really understand the point of this..

Yes start 7 to 10 days after your last injection. If you want start 10 days after rather than 7. The reason people wait (and you might read some posts that say to start PCT two weeks after your last jab) is because they want to ride the last bit of the cycle out for as long as possible without crushing their groove by the effects of PCT compounds. The test (which you will not be doing a terribly large amount of) may last at decent levels for up to two weeks. From my study the last weeks of a cycle are the best but all good things must come to and end. You want a chance to get your natural test levels back up nice and high and also prevent yourself from really lame sides like gyno. I use HCG, Nolva, Clomid, Femera, and Proviron at different times during cycle and PCT. So YES at a minimum you should use clomid and nolva. Keep the nolva on hand in case you get sore or itchy nipples you will need to start taking that right away (during your cycle). The clomid really helps to get your natural test back up and running. Both clomid and nolva are well tolerated substances so don't feel bad like you are taking too many medications.

Thank you so much for your help. Like I said, I will have nova readily available during the cycle.

I think I will start the PCT early as opposed to two weeks because that will be a few weeks out from conest time. I want to have my levels as high as possible. If I had Nova and clomid, how would my dosages for each be?

I showed you my dosage for clomid in my post above so you can follow that if ya want.

Note: You can split your PCT clomid and nolva into 2 and take half in the morning and half at night.
