Hey guys I'm new to this site and have been doing some research on steroids and cycles yet i cannot figure out the perfect cycle. I have found tons of websites listing different stacks and cycles but even then I am not confident about them. Also I'm not looking to get huge, like mr olympia huge but a decent size. I am 5'10'' and currently 139 almost breaking 140 and have been lifting for sometime. I am also pretty worried about side effects and the fact that i have a thyroid disorder and am on synthroid to help balance it out. If anyone on this site thats pretty experienced can help me out that would be great!
Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
I had my thyroid nuked 10 years ago and have been on synthroid ever since. I too am on my first cycle. From what I have researched, as long as you have been going to the Endocrinologist long enough that you are balanced and haven't had to be adjusted I think you'll be fine. Bloodwork before, during and after sure won't hurt.
Now I'm no Doctor and you can consider everything I just said bullshit because thats exactly how you have to treat everything you hear on the dark side. Research, research research, and only through enough knowledgeable opinions will you find an answer on middle ground!
edit:
Sorry, forgot to add that most of the experienced guys here are not going to like your weight. You need to, and you can, (even if you think you can't) pack on some serious LBS. There are plenty of people here to help with your diet to get you there. It's only when you have the right combo of experience, research, body weight and training, will you benefit from AAS.
Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
yeah I am seeing my docs when I head home for break, and my doc has been talking to me about steroids and cycles you know all obviously off the record but I just want to know what a possible slow start to steroids could be a good starter cycle maybe?
Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
5'10" and 139???? How old are you? How many years have you been training? (Notice I said YEARS and not months ) And what is your diet like? Even if you thyroid is not working properly, like cooter said, if your balanced out then you can put on weight naturally and gaining weight the natural way is the first step and ONLY step you should consider before even researching more on AAS

Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
I am 19 and have been training for 2 years and yes I know i weigh 139...I have a ridiculously fast metabolism my daily calorie intake ranges from 3500-5000 a day and I still only see little gains in weight. I'm not saying I want to start taking steroids right away or even at all I just want to see all my options and see everything from a "neutral standpoint" before I sway one way or the other...guess I could have stated that before huh? Its just at this point training for two years and putting on less than 15lbs of muscle has gotten me a little bit desperate...
Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
Bro, you have no idea how many people are just like you. My cousin was my biggest accomplishment (along with a few other of my clients) and he was EXACTLY your stats. He was working his ass off, he could get insanly ripped and hard, but he would pretty much lose weight when working out. He was so stubborn because he wouldnt want to listen to me and finally after FIVE years and gaining 10 pounds, he decided to listen to me. In 11 months, he is not 173 and looks insane. You need to write down EXACTLY what you eat every day (breaking down not just macros, but micros, ex: Protein/Carbs/Fat... what types of protein, carbs, sugars, wheat, grains, and what type of fats.) Also, lets see your workout routine. You might not be working out correctly for your body type. Post all of that on here and let us take a look at it. Little changes can lead to big results for you brother

Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
the thing is I do write down what I eat and it does as indepth and proteins carbs calories fats sugars fiber all of that. Trust me I have been trying to figure it out forever what I've been doing wrong. I just started a new routine as well. Before this one I was doing one bodypart trained per day for 5 weeks then week break then full body routine 3 days a week for 8 weeks week break and now ive started this 3 day a week high weight low rep plan
Day One: Legs/Abs
exercise Sets Reps
Squats 2 5-7,
Leg Press 1 5-7,
Stiff Leg Deadlift 2 5-7,
Lying Leg Curls 1 5-7,
Barbell Calf Raise 2 10-12,
Leg Press C. Raise 1 5-7,
Weighted Crunch 2 10-12
Weighted Situp 1 10-12
Alternating rest and work out days 1 workout 2 rest 3 workout 4 rest 5 workout 6 and 7 rest the plan changes in 5 weeks to one week rest and 8 weeks all different exercises and different muscle groups worked out differently and with other ones to keep muscles in confusion
Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
Well post the diet cause that is going to be the most important. Also, you dont have to change your routine THAT often. You should wait longer than five weeks to see if it is working for you. Especially since your not going to gain weight at an insane rate, you cant judge your progress in that short of a time. You should go with one routine for 8-12 weeks and then switch it up from there.

Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
oh well to clear up confusion before i post my diet i have been doing this routine for 2 weeks now going into my third so its actually 6 more weeks before the routine changes sorry about that!
Now my typical diet consists of a (varying thru the week due to school constraints and meal choices)
breakfast :
3 eggs 3 sausage patties and biscuits milk and juice
lite snack :
chips Myoplex lite drink and water sometimes milk to increase protien absorbtion troughout the day due to the casein in milk
lunch :
Pasta w/ tomato sauce, salad chicken and water and milk (chicken dish varys during the week considering I attend college and I eat reguarly in the cafeteria usually 6 ounces)
Dinner:
Meat dish (ranging from chicken to beef usually 6-8 ounces) pasta w/ tomato sauce, vegetables, cheese burger and fries, sometimes a cup of soup water and milk
Postworkout:
Whey Isolate shake with 5g glutamine and water sometimes milk
Late meal:
chicken Quesodilla with peppers and onions with chips and water
Along with this i usually graze throughout the day on chips or other small foods, I try to stay away from tooo many sugars and sugary drinks due to diabetes running in my family also I have just started making food in my dorm and trying to steer clear of my cafeteria and ive been making pasta and chicken dishes at least 2-4 times a week. again my diet varies between 3500-5000 calories and this is due to time constraints for class and being able to get to the cafeteria or the small cafe in the basement.
Re: New to steroids, cycles, and this site! Advice?
There are a lot of things you can do to add some good cals. Instead of 3 eggs, go to 6-8 eggs. Add in some oatmeal also. For your Myoplex, you DONT want the lights. You dont want to ingest ANYTHING that is light. Go with the regulars. For each of your chicken dishes, add another chicken breast to each meal. Add in some complex carbs as well. Maybe a cup of brown rice twice a day to start. Little things like that variation can add an easy 100cals a day to what your eating. And you have to make sure that day in and day out your eating the exact same things and not having a 1500cal a day variation. You have to be as consistant in the kitchen as you are in the weight room
And hell, buy a few jars of natural peanut butter and eat huge spoonfuls throughout the day to get in a ton of extra cals without making yourself feel so full
