Nizoral for hairloss?

Curious as to how many people have used Nizoral for hairloss and how effective it was? What concentraction did you use 1% or 2%. Did it help on cycle and what protocol was used? Was anything else administered ie Minoxidil?

I use a combo of 1% Nizoral and Minoxidil. Works great for me. Expereinced some significant shedding until I started the protocol.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.. I thought Nizoral was an antifungal used in treating forms of dandruff?

Yes, Nizoral is a antifungal shampoo and helps to control dandruff. From what I can infer it also helps hairloss because its active ingredient ketocozanol helps fight against inflammation at the hair follicle. Which intern allows more nutrients to reach the hair inself. Its also may block DHT at the follicle but that might just be a speculation.

Nizoral Shampoo (2% Ketoconazole)
When used EOD, Nizoral shampoo can help block the formation of DHT in the scalp. A special version of Nizoral shampoo , 'Regrowth Treatment Shampoo', is available that contains 3% salicylic acid . The salicylic acid helps strip dead layers off the epidermis from the scalp, resulting in greater absorption of the 2% Ketoconazole.

Has anyone used minsaw-a or dercos shampoo? I've heard of these as treatments but do not know their effectiveness. The minsaw-a is rather interesting, it contain minoxidil, retin-a, and saw palmetto. Dont know much information about the dercos though.
