Nolvadex consumption

Hey all I just want to make sure my intake of Nolvadex is correct.

20mgs/day for 8 weeks = 1120mgs

on the bottle it says

Tamoxifen Citrate USP 24 20mg/ml 60mls

so if I figured everything out right I need 56mls?

basically 1 bottle will do, right?

I think you need ~32-34mg Tamoxifen citrate to equal 20mg Nolva. I have 20mg tamoxifen pills and the actual weight is 32 or 34 mg tamoxifen citrate.

Ruper, I'm not sure I follow you. Nolvadex is Astra Zenca's brand name for Tamoxifen citrate. They are one in the same thing. Now if your saying you had some pills tested and the results were that the pills were overly concentrated, then thats different. Either way a true 20mg ed is what clinical studies have proven to be effective.

With that said, preacher, I would measure out the liquid stuff with a syringe to make sure you are getting an exact 20, so that everything lasts as long as it needs to. Afterall, you are cutting it close if you only have the one bottle.
And be sure to shake it up. I've heard that the liquid stuff can settle a bit.

Well, usually you want 20mg tamoxifen, which is 34mg tamoxifen citrate.

I got mine via prescription. Doc prescribed 20mg tamoxifen, each tab is ~34mg tamoxifen citrate. I got the generic, but I think you might find that '20mg Nolvadex' tabs are something like 34mg of tamoxifen citrate.

There are previous theads about this, I think on this site, maybe bb.com. I don't know how much this matters if converting from 'tabs' to liquids.

Your math is correct. However, don't be surprised if you come up short in the end due to fractional errors over the course of 56 drawls from the bottle.
