NPP (how many time before shouldn't stop finasteride)

Hi,

Just want to know how many time before injecting NPP (deca short ester) I should stop to take finasteride (propecia). The finasteride should not be taken with deca to avoid lost of hair. I read that the half life is 6 hours for finasteride for an adult. So, if I stop 1 days before injecting NPP, I suppose this is enough. I will have only the 1/16 of the initial dose (1mg per day) in the body.

The reason of my question is because I will switch to NPP for the last 3-4 weeks of my cycle instead of test enan because I lost hair on test enan and I want to stay with a safer steroid for that side effect. Apparently deca do not convert to DHT.

Correct... products like Deca and Eq do not convert to DHT. That's why people with the MPB gene, acne and prostate problems often use them over more androgenic products.

While Finasteride is out of you body quickly I have read where it blocks DHT much longer. Anyway 1.25mg of proscar dailly should stop your hair loss on Test Enanthate. I had problem when i was younger and had a couple hair transplants and the proscar stops my hair loss while on T but I only use 500mg/week 10 weeks a year
