Default Overtraining Question.......

Should I be able to train more frequently while doing a cycle? Would I need less time to recover? Specs. > First Cycle 300 Test E & 200 Deca once a week for 10 weeks

You can, but you dont want to double your workload. If you are going through your workouts with ease and not getting sore, then its time that you step it up and add a bit more volume or decrease rest time or both. You dont want to start doing the same body part two or three days in a week just cause you are on, but you can push a bit harder now.

Could not have said it better myself BB ! Do your same split but go up in weights.hey..talk about overtraining..I just got back from Colorado ski trip..I skiied for 3 days..1st one on the mountain and last one off every day..then on day 4 I went to gym and worked out 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon..then drove on day 5 22 hours to get home..nice hijack huh ? sorry..glad to be home !

add less resting times and more weights just as BB said, i changed my time from resting for 90-120 seconds to 50 seconds after each set, i also lift faster aswell, i find these 2 combined have helped especially in size, more in size than strengh i think.

We were in Crested Butte..as soon as i saw the gym in Gunnison I could not wait to get there ! I basically did a full body workout in a little over 4 hours..The weather was great !!!!!About 4-20 degrees,snowy and sunny conditions..snow was perfect ! I skiid hard..you guys would have been impressed.......I did not see any other body builder ski types at all !

A BB Skier, is a RARE comoditiy brother. I am hoping to go there pretty soon. At least before the weather changes TOO much there.

Andy I realize you are trying to help but when you lift heavy weights for less reps you actually need longer rests..you cannot do a five by five workout while gasping for air...d
