Good post Phreezer. I vacillated back and forth between 500 and a 1000 so I just split the 1500 amps into 2 shots(for 750). I am on day 2 of PCT and this is the first time using HCG.
I was using 1 gram a week of test and 600 EQ. I ran it 16 weeks and had considerable testicular atrophy (my girl thinks they are cute). I will post my results at this level and start clomid following HCG.
Ok Phreezer...I just did my last HCG shot and am ready for my clomid tomorrow. How long should I run it if I was on 1 gram of test and 600 EQ for 16 weeks?
To add to Max Rep's post,,,The longer the testicules are atrophied the longer they take to recover,,,Or they mighht not,,,Better to keep them working than let them shut down,,,As Swale intimated we want to keep things as normal as possible during any kind of cycle,,,VDC
I'm also old school PCT.
Tiny variation, I like to run nolva 20mg ED for the whole last month, start HCG during the last week of injections (1000IU's ED for 10 days) Then start the Clomid at end of HCG, 150mg, then decreasing curve from there.
This has been wonderful recovery for me! (after big cycles, 20 weeks, 1000mg test, 600mg Deca, and some Tren in the mix last 5 weeks)

over at chemical anarchy [animals board] they had a study on a 32 year old BBer whos steroid use had left him with a substandard amount of endogenous test. it was somehow affecting his ability to have children.
they put him on hcg and menstral hormones for 3 months, whereupon his test levels came back up, and they conceived about 7 months later [to make sure i didnt use the incorrect word, they found out she was pregnant].
so, it would seem that at least in his case, the hcg didnt burn anything out. and contrarily, seemed to improve it.
so, make of that what you will.
