Phreezer....I'm thinking of starting my first cycle very shortly but am hesitant on which one to use. I'm thinking of either cycle one or two. I've been lifting for a couple of years and i'm 5'5, 185 lbs, and i don't know my bf (but i'm not fat nor ripped). Is there a big difference on muscle building from cycles one and two. Which one do you think i'll be better off with? Also, what does ED and EOD mean? Thanks.

Personaly, I think you'd add more mass from cycle #2... Cycle #1 is for simplicity and just leaves out orals.

At 5'5 at 185lbs, if you're around 15-16% bf you've done pretty damn well for yourself, I'd bet you'd pop well over two bills on either cycle!

Thanks for the info phreezer and pred. I think i'm gonna start the cycle #2 in January. The only thing i worry about is gaining more bf....how much and how often can i do cardio while doing a bulking up cycle? I'd really like to lower my bf a little but i don't know if that's possible while doing this cycle. Maybe if i eat really healthy?

Well, you can't bulk and cut at the same time....It's really not possable, however, it is possable to gain more lean mass and actually end a cycle weighing a fair amount more than when you started and have a lower body fat%...If you're going to do a cycle..you need to eat and eat a lot so your body has the extra fuel that it needs to provide the anabolics with the juice (pun intended) to make your body grow bigger.

Now wrt to Cardio....

This answer comes at some painful first hand experience...And I don't give a damn what anyone here says, Cardio is IMPORTANT. It is very important, I recently had a cardiologist explain to me the importance of doing cardio while doing heavy weight training exercise, and why exercise (other than resistance) is so important to the cardiovascular system while doing weight training...


Now, I'm not saying go out and run 5 miles a day, but I would strongly recommend 30-40minutes on a treadmill 2-3X Every week.

Great info Phreezer. However I thought you start HCG during the last couple of weeks during the cycle as opposed to taking it after the cycle ends?

Pheezer....I got three more questions for ya, if you don't mind....1. Would cycle #3 be too much for a first cycle? (just out of curiousity) 2. By eating plenty while cycling, would 20x your body weight be enough? and 3. At the end of my bulking and recovery cycle, i will not be able to lift for 2 months because i will be leaving to basic training....is there anything i can take before leaving to help reduce any muscle loss? Thanks again for all the info!

1: No cycle #3 would not be too much, that's why it's listed as a newbie cycle..however it is the most complicated of the three and involves orals. It would be the most productive of all the cycles...

2: This varies from person to person..If your an endomorhph and you eat 20X your body weight in calories and you're allready a big boy..you're gonna get massively fat! However if, you're only 175lbs and you eat 20X bodyweight, you aren't going to gain very well...SO it's up to you and your body type,, I would suggest eating atleast 1.5 grams to 2 grams of protein per lb of body weight, and to eat atleast 500-700grams of carbs and about 50 grams of fat ED (not so much saturated fat, but you gotta do what you gotta do) Typically, I'd say 4000-4500 calories every day (BUT EVERYONE IS DIFFERANT)

3: Well, that's what the Post cycle recovery is about,,,but even with a perfect pct, you're gonna lose muscle...If you're going into the Military, I would advise skiping the cycle untill you're done with AIT. In Bootcamp you won't be able to get enough sleep and you'll be doing too much cardio to keep the mass you put on for your bulker...My advice..save your gear untill after your done with AIT and get stationed wherever that will be

Well stated! My first cycle was a sus/deca/ stack with dbol 35mgs ED for 1st 6 weeks and winny wks 4-8. I put on 24 pounds and kept 16 of it.

I would wait till after you get settled, botcamp and AIT will have you so stressed that you wont even want to think about much else than getting the schools over, passing all the exams and heading to permenant duty station. You palnning jump school or RIP? Been there done that...got the Tshirt! Be safe bro!
