Sorry guys i have to vent.
My doc writes me a script for 30 mill of test cyp and my ins don’t cover it so i mail my script to a well known American online drugstore which states on there web site that you can buy in qty of 10,20,30,40,50 mill of test cyp all ya need is a legit script. So every thing is fine until i check my order online and now the order is for only 20 mill. So i call and they tell me they cant send out anything over 20 mill or a 10 month supply. FINE OK .So now I’m getting my 20 instead of 30.Check it again now its 10 "what the f-ck" so i call. Now they can’t send out no more than a 6-month supply so I’m pissed and tell them to jam it up their ass. What the hell is wrong with this world?????
Plastic surgeons can do all the damn boob jobs they want for the sole sake of cosmetic enhancement with all the risks and danger and possible side effects that they involve. Every damn tv commercial for every damn drug that is advertised comes along with a list of side effects that are far worse than you would ever find listed with testosterone and that even includes f-ucking aspirin. Or you can drink alcohol legally and drive drunk and kill more people than steroids ever have and not to mention the cigarettes problems. But god forbid us few who want to enhance and better ourselves. There is no way we can do a little test even under a doctors care because there fu-king dangerous and immoral but we can go get a nice set of tits if we want or maybe a little lypo suction and take the risk of the idiot punching a hole in our colon and us dying but of that’s fine according to our wonderful government. And the reason its ok with them is because its no threat for them to look at a chic with tits the size of watermelons but when a buff guy shows up it makes the skinny no d-ck bastards look bad.Well i guess we can buy black market test and hope its not 10-40 valvaline.
Ok I’m done I feel much better but still pissed.

Most insurance plans won't cover injectable Testosterone because most doctors won't allow you to self inject, they require you to come into their office to have their nurse give you the injection which increases the cost.

Most insurance plans do cover topical Testosterone because you can self administer it.

The INS not covering it was no biggie because i was buying it out of pocket.
I’m just bent about the whole idea that you can partake in thousands of other things like plastic surgery or booze or ciggs that are far worse than steroids and its no big deal. But a guy who wants to better himself is in the wrong. I’m on trt and was trained by my doc to give myself my injections. I went to the hospital after a self injection of cyp that is prescribed buy my legit doc for trt after my leg showed a redness around the injection site which turned out to be cellulites. But while i was in the ER you would of thought i was the lowest piece of crap on the planet. They were all ignoring me and looking very strange. Finley one nurse ask me about my prob and she had the nerve to say that they all thought i was a steroid junky. I felt like i was in the integration room at the local PD. And that’s the crap that shouldn’t be.

Don't you just love the ignorance .. It's actually pretty funny how so many are so unwilling to edjucate themselfs about things they don't know. They don't want to take the time to learn so they just repeat what they see or hear and exept it as 100% fact... I love how everyone who uses a drug like Marijuana is a drug addict but the people who are popping painkillers every day who don't even need them aren't because they have scripts. There are so many doctors who are fast to write scripts for people and for large amounts too. So many are so fast to judge.

And like i said before the stupid fact is if there ever was someone affected negitive by steroids who was responsible enough to take what they need and not over do it is more than likley due to the fact that a person cant take them even under a docs supervision (which is the way it should be) and are forced to have to look and try to find what they need from sorces that are not on the up in up. Which im sad to say i guess i land in that catorgory myself.

How did the script read as written?

it was written as 30 mil and the dosage 1 cc every 14 days
But im not worried about the ins not covering it i have the money to buy it.Its just the whole national steroid freek out in general.

I didn't say "ALL doctors". I said MOST. My brother is on TRT, and his insurance company doesn't cover injectable Test, but does cover topical Test. When he inquired as to why they didn't cover injectable Test, they said it was due to the increased cost of getting the injections at the doctor's office.

My brother's wife is a RN so she is qualified to give injections, and my brother made that known to them, but they still wouldn't make an exception in his case.

Consider yourself fortunate to have both a good doctor and insurance carrier.

This topic has been covered several times on the HRT board and I think you will find a great number of people on HRT self inject, as for the insurance company one would have to go to the coverage formulary prescription drugs list for their plan and see if depo-destosterone is listed. If it is with the help of the doc you can file an appeal to the insurance company
to pay for it.
You are right they do not like shelling out for doctors visits, but there is no need for a doc or nurse to do the injections and the cost of cyp for 10 weeks is approx 90-120 bucks with out insurance.
