I hope you can answer my question. I have never been on testosterone therapy before. I performed my first injection of Sustanon 250 (1ml) two days ago. As of yesterday, my gluteal area is REALLY sore--major discomfort (I of course have had IM injections over my lifetime for various medical reasons and I have experineced slight soreness, but nothing like this--hard to walk, stand, sit etc.). I investigated complications from IM injections, I am pretty sure I don't have an abscess--no fever, redness etc. I am wondering if I possibly injected too high--I injected in the "right upper quadrant" of the classis injection square, but I may have been too high. I am really disappointed because I would like to use the ester blend in the Sustanon, but my provider says that I may be sensitive to one of the esters. Have you heard of this? I read an article about an individual being sensitive to Enanthate, but that is not in Sustanon. My provider says that I should probably go on Cypionate--is that a big step down from Sustanon?

I am on a sust 325 cycle now, I have done a few diff types of test before. In sust there is test prop, it is most common that the prop will cause soreness. I am taking 2ml every 5 days at 650mg. I am on my 4th week and still after every shot i am in pain. Yest i took my shot in the morn and by 5 or 6pm the soreness came. Today is the worst its been so far but sust is normaly just a painfull shot. Try heating up the sust before you inject it and rub the injection site very good after the shot that might help you out. Good luck bro!! and try and stick it out.

welcome to the world of steroids bro.Sust is a great place to start.Yes you will be sore on it..some is worse than others..it gets better with time.Change injection sites, slightly heat sust before inject, inject very slowly, deep massage area for a few minutes after inject.I promise it will get easier with time.

I did not massage the area after I injected. Hopefully that will help because it almost feels like there is a raised area where I injected--like it is pooled in that region. I know a person should expect soreness, but this seems like it over the top of normal soreness--it is excruciating to lift my leg to put my shoe on while I am sitting. I could not do a squat lift right now if someone paid me. Is it possible that I am allergic/hypersensitive to one of test esters in the Sustanon? It almost seems that way. I hate to go the Cypionate route considering the Sus was quite expensive, but it looks like I may have to.

Honestly i would stick to the sust. If you heat the sust before you inject it that should help out alot. Try a diff inject site. It will get better but i have the same exact problem you are having. It is normal it has happend every shot for me and my lifting partner who is on the same cycle as me. Try running the loaded syring under hot water for a min before you inject and right after rub the spot very good. Also you can try a warm compress (heat a wet washcloth, or if you have one of those bean bags you put in the microave) that should make a big diff. I am going to do all of those my next shot!

Pick out 2 injection sites and stick with them. If you keep switching sites it will be like a new site every time. You need to get the area used to it in order for the pain to start going away. Finish what you have and stick it out. This is just part of it. Just about all of us have gone through it.
Test is Test. It doesn't matter if it's Sus, Cyp, Enan or Prop. The only difference is the injection schedule If you can get the Cyp cheaper then that just might be the way to go.

Agreed, stick to 2 sites and your body will get used to it. My first test cycle was sustanon and I swear it felt like a mule kicked me in the ass for 7 solid days. I had the same problems your having ricker. I'm a triathlete so it took me off the bike the entire week and I wasn't able to run as well. I remeber getting up out of a chair was tuff!
I moved onto Cyp and enan and had no problem with either one bro. I personally preffer cyp..I LOVE CYP
