Angry Prostatitis And Steroids

I have had prostatitis for the last 9 months and everything I have taken hasn't really helped much.(saw palmetto, antibiotis, etc.)

The problem is not only my prostatitis, but I want to start another cycle(my last was about 9 months ago).

I wanna do a test, Deca, winny cycle but I'm afraid this can make my condition even worse.

Any bros out there ever do a cycle having chronic prostatitis?? If so, what did you take to releive the symptoms from making them worse.

Can proscar help me???
What would you guys do???

I've had some minor prostatitis for over a year now. I'm not sure what brought mine on. I've never juiced. My doc seems unconcerned about it. I'm not sure what to do either. Bump for some help

Yeah, 'roids can make your prostate problems feel worse. And if you have prostate cancer, roids may speed up the spread of the cancer. I wouldn't do roids until you get to the bottom of the problem.

Guys, I don't think your doctors have been much help to you. What did they tell you about your PSA test levels?

Have they referred you to a urologist? You should have a urologist stick his finger up there and give it a physical exam. No it doesn't hurt and it doesn't last long.

I've had good luck with a prescription med called terasozin (brand names Hytrin, Cardura). It relaxes the muscles at the neck of the bladder, which go into spasms and make symptoms wrose when you are having trouble voiding all your urine in one stream.

Until you get the prostate problems identified, you should eliminate all sources of alcohol and caffeine. They are murder on enlarged prostates. And I hope you are staying away from diuretics.

I was drinking alcohol for a while - I bet that didn't help.

My urologist says my PSA was normal and he keeps giving me different antibiotics to get rid of it with nill succuess.

This Terasozin sounds interesting and I will ask my urologist about it.
I've had prostate problems for close to 5 years on and off now and it seems I'll have it for the rest of my life. Atleast that's what my urologist says.

This is why I was asking if I can start a cycle. I've been off for 9 months and I'm ready for another cycle - even if it's a aprimobolan / Anavar type where effects on the prostate are minimum.

What do you think?

Geddy, if have it for the rest of the life it's no big deal. I used to have it so bad that I couldn't sit thru a movie without getting up to go the can. Now I'm almost normal, thanks to the terasozin. I've even be able to start drinking again, maybe two glasses of wine with dinner. Caffeine is a different matter.

Has you urologist ever checked your estrogen levels? If he hasn't, maybe it's a sign he's out of touch and you need to go to a different one. Testosterone is converted into estrogens by aromatase, and excess estrogens are believed in some medical circles to cause prostate tissue to grow and contribute to benign prostatic hypertrophy.

If your estrogen levels are too high, you can drive down them using an anti-aromatase and see if it makes a difference. If you're going to go on cycle, you should definitely use an aramotase like arimidex, at maybe .25 or .5 mgs ed.

Testosterone can also be converted into di-hydro-testosterone, which also contributes to prostate enlargement. Diindoylmethane (DIM) is a plant compound found in cruciferous vegetables and seems to be able to reduce the conversion of testosterone to DHT by interrupting the action at the cellular level. See if that works, and if so, definitely use it if you're going on cycle.

Herbals like saw palmetto and stinging nettle have also shown good results
in clinical studies. The trouble, you simply can't trust the supplement companies to deliver the goods. Random sampling of products off health food store shelves shows that almost all of them contain only a fraction of the amount listed on the bottle -- or even none at all. This applies even to big-name manufacturers like Jamiesons.

Hope I'm not boring you stiff by telling you stuff you already know.

You may want to consider a course of Bisolvon (bromhexine) combined with antibiotics... it is a drug which disolves mucous, usualy used in bronchitis, sinusitis, cystic fibrosis, but it is used "off label" in Australia to break down mucous in prostratitis and help penetration of antibiotics.

You can get it at this Australian online pharmacy site for about 12US$ if it isnt avaliable in the US

http://www.pharmacydirect.com.au/PD_...earch=bisolvon

Dose is two tabs three times a day for a coupe of weeks, with an apropriate antibiotic if your prostratitis is related to infection

I doubt Deca or winny will make it worse at all. If you are having urinary symptoms like frequency try Flomax .8 mg per night and/or Elavil 25-75 mg per night.
