Proviron in PCT????

I love proviron! I use it throughout my cycles. I realize it doesn't have any anabolic properties, but I use it for anti-est along with nolva. What I do like most about it is the sex drive it gives me. My question is, will proviron shut down natural test, thus making it useless for PCT. Also, can I use it just to keep the drive while not on cycle, or do I run the risk of skrewing my natural production of test?

Anyone who takes a substance without first researching it and understanding it is making a big mistake. Did you know that Proviron is methylated DHT?

Thanks for your response. I do know that proviron is a DHT derivative, however, people seem to use it most for it's anti-est properties.

Based on what you said, could a low dose, say 25mg per day be used for TRT? Just curious.

The reason I'm asking is, I am on Paxil, and it completely deletes my sex drive. While on proviron it is the oposite. I just don't want any permanent shutdown, just in case some day I want to have kids, I need the boys to work!

Proviron is not a derivative of DHT. It is DHT. It's just been 1-methylated so it can be taken orally without being deactivated by the liver.

Proviron is commonly prescribed for treatment of impotence and/or low libido. Just be aware that you will shut down your natural test production and will need pct to restart your boys.

Since proviron stops your natural test production but fills the role of natural test, many people don't realize what's really going on. It is highly probable that within 8-12 weeks of using proviron, you will be infertile and need substantial pct to restart your hpta.

proviron does help free up test but I would never use it for PCT - I use it prior to pct at the last three weeks of my cycle to set up PCT - for this it works well for me.

You always have to pay the piper.

You can't have increased sex drive/hardons without understanding all that's going on and the consequences to pay.
