Ok, I'm not dumb just to let you guys now

I just have a question, and don't attack me for it... just answer it

I have not done this, and wasn't really thinking about doing it, but I had an idea today, and looked up some nutrition facts online

I will be starting a bulking cycle in a few weeks, Test and dbol. I plan to get about 4000 calories in a day....

here's my question.. would it be that bad to eat fast food to get some easy calories?... for example, a big mac has 540 calories and 24 grams of protein. it also has 29g of total fat, 10 sat g of fat, and 1.5g of trans fat... but that an easy 500 calories and 24g protein, and 44 carbs( i know its not the best carbs but it's still carbs)

and a BK Tendercrisp chik sandwich w.o mayo has 570 calories, 32g protein, and 17g of fat...

granted, I know this food is processed and contains alot of sodium and such, but couldn't you build muscle with this "food"


I'm not worried about gaining fat on this cycle, I just want bulk muscle... I can always cut later

be constructive with your replies please!!!! I'm just asking!

I would say if you are at work eat like this 1 time per day will not hurt you that bad.Leave the fries and coke out of the meal though and double or triple up on the meat and cheese...throw away some of the bread.I am forced to eat at whataburger atleast one time per week ..my kids love that place..I will drink 3-4 large waters,and do a double or triple meat chicken sandwich...no fries no coke and sometime throw away 1 of the buns.You think you can bulk now and cut later but remember the fat you put on around your waist is hell to get off !

My cousin is just finishing up his cycle, was on 750mg Enanthate/wk, 75mg Tren A EOD and dbol, not sure how much but would eat Wendy's and double the meat eat the chicken and just try not to eat anything deep fried and actually lost weight while putting on size. I looked at his burger and gained weight, everyone is different and gain different. I just wish I could eat the burgers!

It may seem like an easy way to get extra calories but wouldn't it be just as easy to eat or drink 7 eggs? 560 calories 42g protein and a bunch of good fat and you could probably eat it in 1/2 the time as a big mac. Or you could go to subway and get a foot long roast beef sub which has like over 600 calories and it's all good shit for you.

GHosh I hate eggs ! i can barely choke down 3-4 each morning and that is with the yolk in them.I am thinking I would rather eat the big mac !! Subway..is good too..i eat there about 1 time per week..they will double or triple the meat for you there.At sonic you can order just hamburger meat or chicken ..no bun..they only charge you for the meat..last time i ate there i ordered 3 pieces of hamburger meat and 2 cheese and 1 large water..they only charged my like 3.50...

If you decide to do the fast food thing you should limit it as much as you can. I know that when I eat fast food it gives me a bloated feeling etc. During my cycles I eat a very strict and constructed diet. The only thing I have been adding to get those extra calories is a high calorie protein drink. At least it has structured calories, proteins, and carbs. I think I was spending about $4 a piece for the drink. The one I was drinking had 500 cal, 52 grams pro, and 65 carbs and I think about 6 to 8 fat grams.

IMO: I know fast food is tempting because it’s cheap and full of calories, but if you make it a part of your daily diet it’s going to back fire. If you want something heavy and packs on some calories? Try eating peanut butter and sugar free jelly on wheat bread. I got some friends that eat four or more of them per day.

I'm gonna do a little experiment on my next cycle, eating fast food a couple times a week


I would really like to see someone do a "supersize me" experiment tho... eating mcdonalds 3x per day, taking steroids, and working out... bc when Spurlock did his 30day mcdonalds diet he didn't exercise at all... I wonder how much muscle you could gain by eating all fast food and working out 4-5x per week?...


One day if you see me in a documentary about juicing up on mcdonalds we will all know why!!!!!!

I think what these guys missed is the fact to bulk you need more calories 4000 mmmmmmaybe

1) how much do you weigh ???
2) what's your routine look like ?
3) what type of gear and dosages ?
4) hows your heart and current cholestrol levels ?? (these will sky rocket and plummet with fatty foods and steroids) you run the risk of a heart attack

personally I do not eat any fast food and limit my red meat to once a week, although the advice givin has been partially correct you should always follow a good diet and get plenty of rest.

like HDH says "eat big and lean, get big and lean", worry about losing that post cycle weight, post cycle, you will be dissapointed in your "experiment" and back asking questions like "what do you guys do for a cutting cycle and what do you eat "

Lee Priest always talks about how when he's bulking he does a varity. 1 meal will be steak and rice the next will be fast food or ice cream. So, people do do it. Let us know how it goes.

1)5'10", 22yo, 200lbs
2)dog crap, 5x5, single muscle groups... i mix it up
3)Test C @ 400mg/week 10 weeks, dbol 30-50mg/day for the first 6
4)couldn't tell you at the moment, need to get a blood test soon


4000cals should be fine for me to bulk, most of them will be clean cals, but I am going to see what happens with some fast food a couple times a week

sure but you're only eating 4000 calories. It would be more understandable if you were bulking on 6000-8000+ kcals. Is it really necessary?

I think it would work better as long as your macronutrient rations are in balance. Like, if you were just to eat typical junk food arbitarily, you'd end up with a lot of saturated fat and high G.I. carbs, and not a great deal of protein; if you ditch the fries in favour of chicken nuggets, and soda for protein shakes, and supplement with Now 3,6,9 oil and fish oil tabs then it might be more reasonable.

If you can't eat 4,000 relatively healthy calories per day, you need to relook at your priorities.

Eating fast food once or twice per week is not that big a deal in a bulking phase. But to count on those calories as part of your daily 4,000 is a mistake. You need to lay out 4,000 calories from fairly clean sources and on the days you feel like junk food, that goes on top of your clean 4,000 calories.

Someone mentioned Lee Priest and I'm wondering if you've seen him in person during the off season or seen off season photos of him... because he can get real fat. Believe me, a 5'4" guy walking around at 260 pounds and 25% BF due to all the fast food and ice cream, isn't a pretty picture.
