Question regarding Anavar and womens period? - MESO-Rx

Hello

I've got a friend who has been on Anavar 18 days today. She stopped the pill and was supposed to be due last week Wed on her period. She has not had a period yet. Is this normal? we think it's the Anavar. Should she just continue on another cycle or stop this completely. How does she get her period back?

It's normal. It's happening due to hormonal imbalances and can last up to 2-3 months. Dennis can tell you more about it so be sure to leave him a pm if he doesn't reply here.

PS: What kind of cycle lasts hardly 3 weeks? It's just not right. If she's worried about sides tell her that she's going to fine with anavar if she plays it safe and doesn't venture in doses much higher than 10mgs.

yah the var will throw that off...

oh and just in case she doesn't know... her pill is probably useless as a contraceptive while on the var... so she may want to think about other types of protection etc...

Ohhh great to know . My wife has been on var for 2 1/2 weeks now and im on alot of test. She is on the nuva ring and i have been going in her like crazy( she just had a babie 3 months ago and is very fertal) She will kill me if she gets pregnant this soon lol. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Speaking from experience here bros..she can miss up to 5 periods after she stops anavar.The last time my wife took anavar she took it for 8 weeks..she never had a period those two months and it took another almost 4 months after she stopped before she had another one.I think if they are on birth control you will not have much to worry about..

i think that some birth control can increase SHBG, which could lower the effectiveness of the var

Yes..but he is worried about the var lowering the effectiveness of the birth control !

just to clarify -- I am not saying that her taking var will cancel out the pill ...

what I am saying is that if you do any amount of research on birth controll pills you will see that many many things can cancel out its effectiveness... For example even cough syrup or antibiotics can cancel the effectiveness of the birth controll pill...

So while I don't have any actually factual evidence to back up statement that anavar changes the effectiveness of the pill, since I doubt it has been researched, it is would still be wise to be safe rather then sorry, and use another form of birth controll while the anavar rather then relying soley on the birth controll pill...

Well you bros got me interested now...

1. I don't remember much on the menstrual cycle, but if she aint having her period does that really make her more fertile, because doesn't that mean she's not releasing an ovum into the fallopywatsit tube?

2. Isn't the pill meant to regulate your hormones, so as to give you a fake, regular cycle, so although the var is no doubt preventing anything close to normal isn't the pill acting to help keep things a little closer to normal?

3. Where can more information be found on women and steroids? Isn't there some kind of PCT for chicks to help em? I can't imagine what it would be but it must suck to have messed up hormones for so long...

It does suck for them to have messed up hormones for so long...try 70 years worth !
