Quick questions about T3

How long should the down time be between cycles of T3? on=off? second, would running 600mg EQ weekly help keep muscle from burning too. i am only allowed to run test once a year. wife does not liek the sides. god, i just read what i wrote and damn i sound like a bitch. oh well, any opinions would be great.
