Default Red DNP caps?
I ordered a new bottle of DNP from a source who previously sent me clear caps that contained bright yellow powder. This bottle has opaque red caps so I can't see what the powder looks like. Could this stuff be fake? Why use caps that hide the stuff inside?

One way to check is the container that the caps came in might have a yellow stain to it.
Dnp powder will stain EVERYTHING yellow.

Just open the tabs. All the DNP I have gotten has been in green and yellow tabs. I dont think that it really matters what container they come in.

I think P and D both use red caps, and they're the two largest domestic suppliers. I wouldn't worry about the color as long as you got it from a reputable source.

D's currently using green and yellow caps.
Honestly, color is not really an issue, and if your curiosity gets the best of you...just stick one with pin and see if you get any yellow powder on it you'll know

Mine just came and they were red. The inside of the cap is tinted yellow though.
