Default So it's offical I'm addicted and I need them...

This is gonna be my 4th cycle and I told myself I would only do one...I just can't wait for my time off so I can get back on... What do you guys do when your off for a few month and your lossing? I guess I just wanna be 220 and when I reach that goal I'll stop... I'm 190 now...What dO I do? I feel small and just don'tget complements like when I'm on and my cuts have gone away...I have a 10 percent body fat now but I just felt way more cut when I was on...I felt so much better and now that I don't have it I feel like I NEED IT.... That's not good and I know it's not..

When you are 220, you will wanna be 240. Feeling like you need something isn't good mentally, and may cause you harm in one way or the other. I cycle, and I will probably cycle until I am 70(if I live that long!), or unless I ever lose interest in weight training. But I do not feel I NEED to be on roids, I do it out of personal choice. I do go through that phase after my cycle where I wanna go right back on, but unless you cycle year round, you just have to discipline yourself to follow your plan. If you are losing all your muscle that you put on during the cycle then you need to make sure your PCT was correct, and you are eating enough to maintain the muscle mass. If you put on 30lbs of muscle, but haven't increased your calories, what do you expect to happen? Not saying that is what your problem is, but you'd be surprised at how many users maintain the same calorie level throughout their cycle and after, and then complain when they either didn't gain much, or lost most of it after they came off the juice.


Sorta off topic - I'm not cut, I'm the big bulked up look, and I get compliments everywhere I go. I have never desired to be cut up, just big and functionally strong.

If you feel this intense of a desire to have people compliment you on your physique, you have a problem my friend.

Also, your gains shouldn't just go away after stopping. If you knew how to train properly and eat right this would not be a problem. This is a large reason I stopped using, because I can make very good gains naturally. Steroids simply did not give me a huge benefit because my other variables (which are much more important) were taken care of. I am certainly not wholly opposed to steroid use, but I do believe they are often taken unnecessarily. I was guilty of this for a while myself, so I am speaking from experience.

The Soviets and East Germans back in the day had superior training methods (and all of the other variables involved as well), and, contrary to the popular beliefs of those who just want to make excuses for better performance, they were not huge abusers of steroids. They primarily used AAS in the hypertrophy phase of their training cycles (not a big portion), and in amounts people on this board would consider laughable, i.e. 5mg of D-bol a day for a few weeks with nothing else. Just an aside to show you that steroid use is not the end all, and unless you have your training and nutrition in place, you will never achieve optimal gains.

Two high quality answers to a deep problem. Seems to me that most of your prob is mental. Man has a great capacity for self deception. We tend to concentrate on the negative aspects of our moments. What I like best about your post, Pump, is that you recognize the problem. Now what to do, eh? Mental discipline is much like physical discipline. It takes time and effort. There has to be goals. There will be successes and failures. You must be patient with yourself. You are enough. You possess all the tools necessary to cope with life. Realize that your mind is as important as your body. Keep seeking and you will find. The possibilities are endless. And remember we are in this together.
