Sore throat while on DNP???

I am doing my first DNP cycle. I ran 200mg ED the first 4 days and am now on my 4th day of 400mg ED, and I noticed since yesterday I started to get a sore throat. This morning when I wokeup it was more painful. It is swollen too, like a normal sore throat, but not so as to restrict my breathing or anything like that. I'm wondering if this is a possible side effect of the DNP, or am I just getting sick? I don't remember reading anything about DNP causing this... It's definitely bearable, just wondering if it is a side effect anyone has experienced, how to combat it. Thanks,

Don't worry, a slightly sore throat in the morning is common with DNP. No one knows what causes it. I suspect that the water retention that DNP causes also makes your uvula and throat tissues swell and that these get irritated by your breathing during the night. But this is just a theory.

The more hydrated you stay, the less your throat "should" irritate you.

Is the sore throat a 24/7 thing or are there particular times that it is worse than others.

I got a sore throat both times I used it. They would last the better part of the morning. I always Thought it was from sweating and have a fan on all night????

Worst when I wake up, by the late afternoon, it's pretty much gone; next morning, repeat.

i get that too....it feels the same to me as the onset of a cold, so i chalk it up to trying to stay cool while sweating....if it doesn't go away, i stop using the fan for a short bit and drink a bunch more cold water....that helps me....

I had the same kind of thing happen to me, but as the day went on it got easier to deal with. I am sucking down around 2 gallons of water and crystal light a day right now ( day 8 of 9) and I cant seem to get enough to drink. I think it has something to do with cottonmouth that becomes cotton throat. its doable though. The benefits , for me anyway, seem to be very , much worth the sides . I picked one of the hottest weeks in Oregon recent record to use DNP, its been in the 95+ range, 102' today , Plus the Gym i lift at had the A/C totally crap out on it so its been 80+' in Golds making it that much more horrible. But this shit really worked for me...so id deal with all the little gripes all over again . Good luck with the yap pain.
