I originally posted this in the "legal section" because there was a thread of posts reagrding foreign meds. But that thread seems to have died so i figured i move over to a more general area. (I KNOW my spelling and grammar sucks (which the legal people seems to be preoccupied with) no offense to any of the legal posters but I hear enough about my chicken-scratch at home/work/the bank.....Basically, wherever i write anything.
I even cleaned my post up with punctuation, proper spelling and grammar.

Fellas. Long-time lurker, first time poster. horrible typer/speller. good to meetcha. I normally just read about the meds and dosages people take, but the ordering from outside of the US or underground labs is a big issue for me. I'm an internist and i write rx's for
test, mostly creams or patches, very little
Anavar, some 2-4week IMs of
test esters. my point is that i get many patients who will report their rx's at routine visits as "tylenol, vitamin C, and pepcid" or the regular "i use no drugs thing that they think i want to hear. But more and more frequently, right before i give a referal for surgery or some lab tests, more and more patients start saying "Oh yeah. i was on d-bol for three months and i'm current taking TEE or
Cyp....yata yata
winstrol, deca....." You get the point.
Now i don't care what my 30yo and olders do unless it is clearly THE CAUSE of a problem or if a problem can be anticipated. Usually psychiatric concerns. But I've used it all, still do and i'm getting by. But my stuff is clean.
I dont recommend or condone black market drugs, anabolics included, but i would like to hear some comments on the generaly QUALITY/safety of these drugs. "British dragon" and some other names come up frequently. Does anybody know of studies (and as touchy a subject as it seems to be, citations (author, year, journal)) or personal experiences with tainted or unsterile drugs, impurities? Infections?BTW, I liked the pic in Llewelen's (sp?) slides of the knee cyst. I'm also concerned about toxins such as lead or mercury, or preservatives that are known to be dangerous. With this knowledge i could better council patients on risks/benefits. If fact, if i was convinced that black-market
AAS were more dangerous, i'd be more inclined to get the prerequisite labs and work to get a clean rx med to the patient. SInce the "normal range of
test is so wide there is no general concesus, even among endocrinologists, of what "hypogonadism means. you can have 2000mg/dl, but if you're androgen insensitive it means nothing.
Okay...I'm rambling, love to hear myself talk. but i am here to learn and your feedback is appreciated. besides, i stole my daughter's laptop to write this and she's giving me that look.
Thanks again.
