Steroid Forum: This is a discussion on Staying on within the Anabolic Steroids forums, part of the extensive steroid information at MESO-Rx; Can anyone see anything really bad about staying on lets say for 8 months on 500mg test ?
If you ...
It could cause potential recovery issues. Its probably not a great idea, but Im sure many have done it. Why would you feel the need/desire to stay on for 8 months if you dont mind me asking?

Anything to avoid running shitty PCT for as long as possible, also depends how long id stay off, but im not one of those completely insane people who runs PCT crashing the bodies hormoanes and jumping back on only 3 months after my last cycle it would be better to just run through out for longer than doing PCT and jumping back on in another 3 months plus I would make more gains on a longer cycle. Im still going natural now for a long time, just getting as much pre-info as possible.
I probably wont stay on for that long, I just want to avoid running PCT anytime near summer.

I believe that running a good cycle twice a year gives optimal results and allows the body efficient time to recover in between. I wouldnt encourage anyone to run a cycle every three months. Thats just me. If bloodwork is done regularly, it should show how youre recovering.
The rule of thumb that I go by personally is, if you run a 12 week cycle, and PCT for 6 weeks, that would be a total of 18 weeks off. Got to remember to include PCT time as well, not just the AAS part. After that, granted bloodwork is good begin another if you want. As for crusing in between cycles, if you dont need TRT right now dont do it. The results wont be any better by doing that. As long as your body can produce test naturally, let it. Its a good thing.
See your point and staying on is not worth it, im gonna play by the rule of 3 months and coming off.
The quicker you come off the less you will suffer later on it looks like.
Can see theres obviously a good reason now why 12 weeks is the standard.
