Currently I am a criminal justice major and I am going to graduate in May. Not once in any of my classes have we discussed anything reguarding steriods. The problems that face law officials today are much greater than going out of their way in order to catch people with steroids. Really the only way you would get caught with your stash is by sheer chance. No judge is going to give a DA a search warrant for a steriod raid unless this person is a huge, and well known supplier. If these guys are smaller (which im assuming they are) dealers, then they shouldnt be in any trouble unless they are currently doing something to draw attention to themselves.

Well what if they are dealing with Police Officers and they do not know it? They sell on Messengers and through emails etc. Are they at risk if they close a deal with someone in law enforcement? So what if they sell online to an undercover cop?

In that case Im not too sure. Its pretty stupid to be dealing through instant messenger, just because you dont know who your dealing with. They could end up selling to some 16 year old kid and then have their parents find out and then that would start a whole world of problems. I dont know how all districts work and how each individual precinct operates but I doubt off duty cops sit on instant messenger to try and bust people while they are off duty. Most officers do as little as possible when they are off duty because most of them are overworked and want as much downtime as possible. By busting someone on instant messenger would only create more work for them, and even if they do pursue it, what is the likelihood that they would be able to bust them. It would take a great deal of man hours in order to pursue the bust.

IMO, I just cant see officers doing this, unless they have a certain individual singled out. I would just tell them to quit selling on instant messenger and play it cool for awhile just to be safe, but I just dont see law officials pursuing them.

I actualy Have another thought... Do you think some cops/law enforcement will go out of their way to use Instant Messengers such as AIM, Yahoo, MSN etc to catch people selling?

im friends with a police officer and hes also fredral but he only does Computer Crimes fedral and he never once told my about any steroid busts over then net mostly child porn etc etc but i did ask him and he said they have been stepping up those kinds of busts...so i think that if some UGL sold to law enforcement then they might get screwd

as of yet LE has not gone after users - only those who are foolish enough to get caught in public with their shit

BTW the greatest threat facing America right now is Meth - not steroids - they had better get onto that instead of worrying about AAS

I know of more than a few cops who do steroids themselves. Right now a cop buddy of mine is looking for a hookup for me from a mutual friend who is a cop who uses. Both guys are huge and knowing the time they spend in the gym they wouldn't be as big as they are if they weren't using.

If thats true, then Rick Collins would be out of business. Law enforcement does go after users, possibly in an attempt to get to the dealers, but they still get the users either way.

this whole post of LE and warrants and probable cause is bullshit....most posted here dont know there shit..idunk42..dont give advice unless you know what the hell you are talking about...you graduate in may with a criminal justice degree then you say a judge wont authorize a search warrant unless they are huge or a well know supplier...bull shit..bro..what college did you go to..
