Stuck myself in a main vein.. I think

I was poking myself today in the shoulder and I hit a vein. It started pumping like crazy and blood began dripping down my arm. It swelled up right away. Kind of like a big mosquito bite. Any thoughts?

Yep. You passed through a vein or artery. You're gonna be a little sore for a couple days and you may have a nice bruise. If you didn't aspirate any blood into the syringe before you pushed it home, you'll ba allright. Sometimes some of the oil tracks it's way into a vein that your needle has glided through and it could cause lightheadedness, coughing or headrush. Mostly no big deal.

You probably did. I remember when I first injected AAS. I was so scared that I had my girlfriend inject me in the glutes. She shot me in an artery. Soon as the needle broke skin I felt the worst burning and prickly feeling. Soon as she with drew, blood sprayed all over her face, neck, and breast. I kid you not I had a knot the size of a golfball. Everytime I sat down, my glutes, would bleed. This went on for about 5 days. I was truly on the rag. Sorry about this unpleasant description. Just thought I would share my story.

Did you inject in your deltoid? I have injected their numerous times and have never had a problem. There are not really any major veins and definitely no arteries their. I use a 25g 1" syringe.

I don't expect to die! I just was not sure about the bump. I have shot in the delt numerous times and never had a problem. This time it actually pulsed and raised a bump.

I've had it happen in the delt before. You'll be fine. Give it 3-5 days or so to clear/heal.

I always get some swelling in my delts (that's normal), but I've never hit anything close to a vein. What size syringe are you using and exactly where are you injecting?

It started thumping and the pressure pushed the needle out. Real strange. I use a 1 inch 25 gauge. Top front of the delt is where I stabbed at. Never had problem before and that is why it was so strange.

what size of mow did you use when you mowed yourself in the arm??????????

I always inject dead center. Draw a circle around your delt and hit the bull's eye at 90deg.
